I am a professional full-time Chinese Mandarin teacher from the North of China where Mandarin comes from. I have been teaching for about 10 years as a teacher. I have my own school and website for studying Chinese. Students' ages are from 3 to adults. They are from all over the world. You can study with me online / come to my office /Go-home lessons. Classes can be one-to-one or group classes. I have been helping numerous people learn to speak Chinese and do exam HSK. Children always have fun learning Mandarin with me. I always motivate my students to do their best and to speak in French during class. I always give homework to practice writing skills. From B1 level we talk about news and culture, my lessons are always concrete and goal oriented. Repetition is also part of my lessons, so that students can learn new material with confidence. Finally I also offer Delft exam training from A1 to B2 levels - a diploma that is required for many Hotel Schools and also to be able to work and study in French-speaking countries.

Born in a Belgian family, I grew up in Brussels and followed a bilingual education at the Lycée Français Jean Monnet where I got my high school diploma; Baccalaureate (Economic and Social section with International Option of Baccalaureate). In my last year of high school, I tutored a 6-year-old with all her subjects(math, french, dutch and science). Teaching the Arabic language to native speakers and non-native speakers through linguistic levels starting from the beginner all the way to the advanced, the linguistic level corresponding to the European curriculum in languages from A1 to C1. I succeeded in obtaining a one-day lesson using instruction and training on the skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing in accordance with the latest learning and modern educational frameworks. In teaching foreign languages, ECRIF, and the PPU and PPD frameworks, my philosophy of learning is based on communicative development.

My belief is that each student is different and requires a tailor made lesson to meet that student’s needs and goals. Every class is personalised for your own profile and is adapted as needed. I give priority to conversation, convinced that even from the very first day, one can start to communicate in the new language and thus gain confidence to go on. I base my courses on the four essential competencies: speaking, listening, writing and reading, always focusing on your personal goals and motivation. I progressively integrate phonetics, grammar, conjugation, vocabulary in the courses which always include practical exercises. You will also learn a lot about the culture as it is deeply linked to the language. The pedagogic materials I choose are mostly created for native speakers : texts from literature, newspapers, radio podcasts, videos, songs.... Indeed, I am convinced that the learning process has to tackle « real subjects », as languages are alive and constantly changing. My main challenge is to help the learners to be able to « think » in the second language. The debate is the heart of my classroom, but always in a playful way, through many role games — for me learning a language is first and foremost a great joy !
