Hi! My name is Eduardo, a professional musician and long-time music teacher. I am offering physical and online lessons in Music Theory, Improvisation and Instrument. #Harmony #Composition #Solfège #Saxophone #Clarinet #Piano Lessons are addressed to every student profile, regardless of age, level of expectations (no matter if it is seen as a hobby or rather if the individual is getting prepared for official Conservatory auditions, etc.). We will play and/or focus on what the student is willing to deepen into (whatever music style they are interested in, more theoretical aspects or rather practical ones), trying to get the maximum profit of the employed time, and prioritising the actual learning of the person as the main factor for their motivation. I obtained my Jazz Music Master's program at the Prince Claus Conservatoire of Groningen in June 2022. Previously, in 2018, I graduated from my music Bachelor's at the Conservatorio Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona (Spain).

The class is offered to children and adults, who would like to discover the music world and broaden their understanding of this form of art. For children, it will be a nice, light, and creative journey since I spend quite a lot of time with kids of different ages. For adults, I could suggest either a fun way of learning or a deep and thoughtful approach to piano playing. I am flexible and open to the conversation! This also applies to the schedule, location, time, and the repertoire you/your child would like to play. Music theory can be a very overwhelming thing, when there are so many different ways to explain a concept, a chord, a system, an song... I will help you lay down a steady foundation of music theory and ear-training, explain the complexities with personal approaches and help you navigate and analyse the music you love. I will use a basis of jazz theory which is also most used in pop-music. If you already play an instrument, this class will help you to deeper understand what you are playing and why it works musically. And any suggestions, wishes and dreams are welcome!

I can teach you basic and advanced concepts of any style on the piano (classical, jazz, pop-rock...), and if you like improvisation and jazz then we get along even better! My approach to teaching strongly takes the student's CREATIVITY into account, but without forgetting that a good knowledge of MUSIC THEORY and PIANO TECHNIQUE are essential. Constant practice is recommended for better results, although it is not strictly required.

Hi! My name is Miquel. I study organ at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I have played in some of the most important organs in the Netherlands, like the Müller organ in Haarlem or the Van Hagerbeer organ in Alkmaar. I'm also church organist. In my lessons, you will learn the basics of organ playing, which include playing solo pieces and also learning how to accompany a congregation. The lessons are taught in one of the several pipe organs located at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Come and discover the vast world of organ playing!

I teach how to prevent Piano Injuries by focusing on proper technique, posture, and practice habits. My professional experience includes coaching students of all levels and ages. I successfully prepared the students with their Piano Exams like ABRSM, Trinity Grade, from grade 1-8, with merits and distinctions, and more advanced exams as well (Performance Diplomas). I teach for the Enjoyment of Music as well. I believe you can learn to play the piano at any age. My oldest student is over 75 years old and my youngest one has 3 years old. They made great progress, I am sure you could do the same. I've never met anyone who didn't have musical abilities! You can be a serious or a recreational player. The only requirement is the willingness to spend some time at the piano. I conduct my lessons using a combination of 4 cameras for optimum visibility, and a quality microphone which my students find very helpful. This allows them to see a very clear visual demonstration alongside my verbal explanation. I can confidently say that Online Lessons are the same as In-Person Lessons. CURRICULUM I do not believe one method works for all students. I have used many different lesson books and resources over the years. For beginners I like to use Alfred method books for basics concepts and for Classical and Jazz Piano technique I like to use ABRSM books (grade 1-8). If my student feels that they can learn better from another books, I am glad to adapt my teaching strategies to their needs. Along with the lesson books below, I use a lot of supplemental materials based on the students' interests. I also aim to teach their favorite songs as soon as possible. I like to clearly explain and demonstrate piano technique. In this way, the students are able to apply the information on similar passages from all genres of music.
