English as a Foreign Language with a native speaker
From 25.9 £ /h
I am a native speaker with some training in teaching English as a foreign language as well as a bit of experience. I'm happy to work on whatever you feel you need to work on, whether that's confidence speaking and writing or just general comprehension.
If you are studying for an exam I can help come up with extra tips and exercises to help deepen your understanding. I can also be someone to practice with if you get nervous during speaking exams.
If you are not studying for an exam I would love to take the time to explore your interests with you in English, and find articles, shows and music for you to enjoy while also passively learning. As well as detailed discussions and written reviews

About Me
I'm originally British-Irish but have moved to France to pick up some French and get to know the culture (also to eat cheese and drink wine as if my life depended on it)
I really love music and movies, as long as they are well made, and I would love to talk with you about them.
Since my teacher training I've gotten into writing lesson plans, I like getting my students to learn without noticing that's what they're doing.
I was awful at languages when I was in school and I feel like the way we teach has to change. I want to make my lessons less about memorizing grammar and vocabulary and more about relevant, immersive scenarios and topics
