I teach (basic) Dutch to (young) adults who speak other languages. The purpose of the lesson is to be able to have easy and simple conversations in daily life. In addition, there is also practice on language comprehension and written language production. We practice Dutch on the basis of role plays, audio clips and newspaper articles. Also people who already have some knowledge of Dutch are more than welcome to join. During the first lesson we will discuss your requirements so that I can adapt my lessons accordingly.

I tutor the students at home in the Lier area, or remotely via Skype. I give a clear explanation when making assignments and help the student in a structured way to come up with answers as much as possible. Practice is based on the material so that students get used to the questions they can expect during their exams.

During our first lesson we will discuss your goals and level and I will tailor a lesson for you. I like to structure my classes according to topics based on everyday life situations (how you introduce yourself, how to make an appointment, go shopping, go to the doctor, professional language, etc.). We will go through the grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. If you are an average person, we will also give some lessons on reading comprehension + speaking. We will put both grammar and vocabulary into practice.
