As a Vienna-based, internationally active violinist and chamber musician, I completed my concert exam at the State University of Music Trossingen (Germany) and am currently studying at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK). With a master's degree from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW), I have been helping people discover the joy of the violin through shared music-making—whether in lessons, chamber music, or on stage—since my student days! From beginner to professional musician, from the practice room to the concert hall—I understand both the challenges and the magic of learning music! I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam). I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools/muziekacademies). In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination. We gaan niet alleen kijken naar de stem maar ook naar 'Hoe sta ik op een podium?' of 'Hoe verminder ik stress?'. Ik ga dus ook kijken naar de mentale en emotionele aspecten. Ik help je verder op basis van al mijn muzikale bagage die ik ondertussen zelf verder uitbereid! I hold a Diploma with Distinction from the ARSM and have been won in several prestigious national and international competitions, including Galway flute festival, British Flute society competition for three years. I have graduated from London Symphony Orchestra. I love playing and creating music, and I am dedicated to helping others to discover the joy of flute.
