About Me
Hey, I’m Alex — a professional dancer and teacher with 13+ years of experience teaching dance to people of all ages and abilities.
I specialise in Breaking (Breakdance) and House, while also drawing from Hip Hop, Popping, Locking and other street dance styles. My teaching is focused on helping you build strong foundations, develop your musicality, and most importantly, become confident expressing yourself through movement.
I’ve trained and taught internationally across the UK, France, Germany, Finland, Sweden and Thailand, and have worked with complete beginners, experienced dancers, children, adults and students with additional needs.
Whether you’re looking to learn your first moves, improve your technique, develop your freestyle, prepare for a performance, or simply have fun and get moving — I’ll tailor each session to your goals and experience.

Education
BA (Hons) Urban Dance — University of East London
A specialised degree focused on the development of urban and street dance as both a performance art and cultural practice.
Throughout my degree, I developed a broad understanding of street dance styles, movement practices, choreography, performance, musicality and creative development. The course encouraged me to explore dance both technically and creatively, while developing my own identity and approach as a dancer and artist.
My studies also explored the history, culture and evolution of Hip Hop and urban dance, helping me understand the importance of the communities and cultures from which these styles originate.
The degree gave me a strong foundation in dance technique, freestyle, choreography, performance, creativity, musicality and professional practice, which I now bring into my teaching and work with dancers of different ages and abilities.
