My current students study from a variety of schools and different exam boards. Current students attend : Bangkok Prep (IGCSE), St Andrew’s (IB), Australia International School, Shrewsbury International School.

After determining student's strengths and weaknesses, I will devise individualized lessons plans to meet students needs. I always ensure that my lessons are engaging and have specific targets that will ensure the academic success of my students.
I have been teaching mathematics and physics in for year 9-13 in Bangkok for the last 10 years. My lessons are very specific to a student's need and I create a supportive environment to make learning enjoyable.

I can do online or at student's home (within 30 minutes of Gateway Ekkamai Shopping Center)
Online lessons can be for 1 hour. At home are 2 hour lessons
At home lessons there is an additional fee per lesson for locations over 30 minutes from Sukumvit/Ekkamai (Gateway Ekkamai)

About Me

My name is Brian and my greatest passions in life are teaching and learning. I was a software engineer for 20 years but my true love has always been helping students learn.

Originally from America, I graduated from the University of UCLA with a degree in Math/Computer Science. I initially started working as a software engineer developing software for military US fighter jets. I know the skills and knowledge necessary to be a successful engineer. Now I am returning to my passion for learning and helping others learn math and science.

I ensure that I create a supportive learning environment that inspires and challenges students to become life-long learners and principled global citizens. Math and science are about recognizing problems and having the skills and knowledge to understand the process to solve the problem.

In my tutoring, I assess students' strengths, weaknesses, and goals and make a plan for success.

I like to help students understand the concept in a way that is most applicable to them by showing real-life examples (youtube and annotated examples), coupled with a good understanding of the theory behind the concept (making short notes and reading through the lesson) and finally recall and apply all the concepts by practising revision questions (past year questions, Kahoot quizzes).
