I am Pragya! I graduated in Biochemistry (Honours) from Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi. I further went on to pursue my master’s degree in Medical Biochemistry from Jamia Hamdard, Delhi. I am currently pursuing Doctorate in Biological Sciences from Queen’s University, Belfast, United Kingdom. During all these years I realised that the classes I appreciated most were not necessarily the topics I was most interested in, rather it were the professors who made the classes enjoyable and interesting. All these professors had one thing in common, they were always engaging and comprehensible when teaching and moreover were willing to go an extra mile when asked for additional help and clarification. I will carry the same approach and knowledge to my tutoring sessions and do everything to make learning a pleasant experience. I use lesson plans in which I usually introduce the topic in a fun and creative way, then explicitly teaching the material. The biggest strategy I strictly adhere in my sessions is “Revise the old; learn the new”. Of course, this method can be adjusted based on the subject and student’s individual needs. I currently demonstrate on module for biomedical science and in total have eight years of tutoring experience. I want to benefit the students I work with best of my capabilities therefore, I am open to any additional resources and suggestions from both students and parents. I am easy to reach and always provide fast responses. Feel free to contact me with any additional questions or to schedule a lesson!

Trusted teacher: Currently studying for a Master in Management (Grande Ecole) at ESCP Europe on the London campus, I offer private lessons to accompany your children by helping them to do their homework (primary, college, high school, all subjects). Next year, I will study at the École Polytechnique: Master in Economics, Data Analytics and Corporate Finance. After graduating with honors (17.2 / 20) in 2015, I studied Economics and Finance at Bocconi in Milan (International Course taught in English). My academic background allowed me to develop requirements, rigor and organization. Having also participated in summer camps as a manager (graduated from BAFA), I am very pedagogue, patient, and eager to advance my students. I have several experiences in teaching: I gave several private lessons to college students and undergraduates. In addition, I helped several students prepare admissions to the Bocconi and the Parisian Grandes Écoles. I share with my students my methods of work and learning that have paid off for me. I am available the week but also the weekends. Do not hesitate to contact me, I will be happy to help you! Victory

As a recent first-class Biochemistry graduate working as an intern in Financial Audit and Value for Money (VFM) at the UK National Audit Office, I have experience working in many fields, from medicine to tutoring to auditing. I have had experience as a glider pilot through my Gliding scholarship, I have worked with my genetics lecturer as a laboratory module developer and I have also been an activity leader in an international summer school. I, therefore, hold a spectrum of transferrable skills with a wealth of knowledge in Biochemistry which I can bring to the students. My teaching method starts with an initial assessment and consultation with the students to identify their areas of weakness. We then discuss effective revision methods to see which one is more suited for the individual. I action plan or a revision plan will then be created with the student, which is suited to their daily lives. Following this, we tackle the subject areas using various methods. Making the lessons creative and ensuring the student understands why things happen instead of memorising facts is very important, therefore, explaining certain topics as a story and a flowing process is crucial. To ensure that the student has fully understood the session, the end of each session will consist of a recall period, where the student will have 5-10 minutes to write everything they have learnt and understood in that session. The student will then be advised revision techniques for the topic and we will create a revision plan for the following week to ensure the content is not forgotten. The student will be advised to recall the topic every other day until the next session and a short 5-minute pop-quiz will be set at the start of the next session. It is incredibly important that the student is comfortable and enjoying the sessions therefore, some parts of the session will be more informal and others will be in exam conditions to ensure the student also experiences and learns how to manage their time under pressure.

I specialise in tutoring the following subjects from (Key Stage 3 to A Levels): - Mathematics - Sciences - Physics, Chemistry (primarily) and Biology - Business Studies and Economics - Computer Science My goal is to keep students engaged and ensuring that proficiency in a subject/topic is measured through short 15 minute tests every lesson and mastering exam technique via past paper practice questions - as practice makes perfect! I will only assign homework if i believe the student has been unable to grasp a topic during a session and requires further coaching/ elaboration. Finally i will also provide study aids to summarise topics covered during sessions and to be used by the student during revision. I am an Oxford University graduate with a BA in Human Sciences. I am currently studying for my second degree in Medicine at the University of East Anglia. I really enjoy working with children and young adults. Tutoring Experience: I have tutored primary school children in Maths and English, as well as students at the GCSE level where I taught Biology and Chemistry. I have siblings at various stages - from primary stage through to A levels whom I tend to help with work, and am therefore up to date with the changing curriculums. I've generally received very positive feedback from students. Tutoring Approach: My approach to tutoring is student led, whereby the student outlines where they think their limitations are and what they are struggling with. I then start building on that, laying a strong foundation and gradually moving up to more challenging levels. I try to make the lessons interactive and fun. I am flexible in my style of teaching and choose what I think will work best for each student. I'm very friendly, and love meeting new people. I try to make the teaching experience as enjoyable as possible.

I have learnt science at the highest level and taught it to almost every level and to lots of different backgrounds. So if you have ever wanted to really make the subject make sense, to understand it to another level, or to just prove to yourself that you really can do this, then this is the class for you. I don't believe in homework. I do believe in practice though and so I will be helping you find the fastest and most effective ways of memorising the material.

Academy Profession Degree in Chemical and Biotechnical Science (BAAA Denmark) HND in Biological and Chemical Sciences (Coventry University) BSc Hons in Biomedical Science (Edinburgh Napier University) I am a huge science enthusiast with particular interests in data science, molecular biology and organic chemistry, additionally to my lab technician and research experience I have participated in teaching students a variety of scientific concepts, methods (e.g. at University of Warwick), so rest assured I will give my 100% to make sure that you overcome difficult topics with ease! I have been struggling with understanding plenty of scientific principles, such as molar calculations, the way the lactose operon works, or even DNA replication and I managed to get through it all. That makes me want to help you fellow students as well, as I strongly believe that if someone cannot explain something in plain English he doesn't understand it enough to teach!
