I achieved a grade 8 in my Higher Mathematics GCSE and I am currently studying both Mathematics and Further Mathematics for A Levels. All my knowledge of the GCSE Mathematics course is fresh in my mind as I completed it not long ago. I feel that I can use my knowledge to help so many people who Mathematics doesn't come easy to. I am a undergraduate at Exeter University studying Maths. I specialise in pure maths and statistics. I aim to go over any work the student has and practice tests as well as any general issues a student may have. I'd love to help involve more young people in maths, and show them what a university career in maths would look like.

This class is aimed at older students, but I am more than able to accommodate to younger students as well.

As a younger person I'm still able to empathise with a students problems and I have experience working with school children helping out with maths.

Math is essential for life and is one subject that students always have issues with. Students are able to learn Maths simple and are also able to extent their learning to real life contexts. GCSE questions are also used to assist students in formative assessment.

I graduated from the University of Warwick with a BSc in Economics in 2017. Since then I have worked as a maths teacher and middle leader at a school in England. In this time my classes have achieved GCSE results higher than any similar classes at the school have attained before.

My plan, as your tutor, is to break down the hard concepts in those subjects to a level that you can understand and once you have those concepts we will apply those concepts in the form of workbook exercises and exams. When I was a student, I struggled with these subjects myself, however, once my parents hired a tutor I started to see the drastic change in my work rate and understanding and now I can say that I graduated with a 2:2 in Chemical Engineering.
