About Me
I graduated from the American University of Beirut in 2016 with a Masters in Civil Engineering (Construction Management), and I completed my PhD requirements in Construction Engineering and Management by February 2022. I trust that my teaching experience, partnered with my research in the field make me a strong candidate for tutoring students.
It is worth mentioning that I am an ambitious, enthusiastic, and conscientious individual who works hard and pays attention to detail. My communication skills are notable, and I am flexible, quick at picking up new skills, and eager to learn from others.

Experience / Qualifications
Year 2010 was my first year of my undergraduate studies at the American University of Beirut (AUB) as a civil engineering student. It was when I started tutoring students in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry courses. After completing my Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering (2014), I did a lot of private tutoring to students in different civil engineering courses (mainly structural engineering). Then I decided to continue my graduate studies and earn my Masters in civil engineering (Also at AUB), where I had research and teaching assistant duties. In 2016, I enrolled in the Ph.D. construction management program at AUB. During my residency period, I was a lecturer assistant helping my supervisor, and also I was a part-time instructor at Phenicia University and the Lebanese International University. In February 2022, I completed my Ph.D. degree and currently I am the coordinator of the Civil Engineering department at Phenicia University.

The course covers the principles of force and moment vectors, the distribution of loads, the use of free-body diagrams and the internal forces, with applications to shear and moment diagrams under different loading conditions. It also covers the mechanical behavior (stress-strain relationships) of different materials under tension, compression, torsion, bending, and shear stress. Mohr’s circle, transformation equations, and Hooke’s law are discussed.`
