About Me

Hi, my name is Lih and I have been playing cello for over 40 years! With a background in classical music - my career has taken me to stages all over the world.
Cello/loopstation work

As a performer, I've been a cellist who has been sought after for her Loop station cello performances. I use various pedals and effects to create pieces that explore the full vocal and percussive range of the cello, combining intricately shifting textures, cinematic orchestration with soundscape. I work with a large palette that shifts effortlessly between modern classical, krautrock, sonic environment and electronica. I've created and performed live soundtracks for dance theatre and new circus productions, and toured all over the world, playing venues such as The Barbican ( London), Queens Hall Southbank (London), Apollo Theatre (London) Stanisklavsky Theatre for Bolshoi Danceinversion festival ( Moscow), La Philharmonie and La Seine Musicale (Paris), Zorlu Arts Centre (Istanbul), SESC theatre (Sao Paulo), and working with the famous choreographer Yan Li Ping to create the Chinese/Berlin fusion opera ‘Dynamic Huang Shang’.

I also toured internationally with bands such as Agnes Obel, Raz O’hara, Die Wilde Jagd and Federico Albanese.

No previous knowledge of music is required.

In my lessons, I offer you a pleasant and effective way to connect your body and mind with the cello. You'll quickly learn how to resolve a difficult passage, identify the cause of a problem, clarify questions about music theory, and integrate all of this into your playing with a sense of physical ease—so that you feel comfortable and can enjoy the music you create.

If you are just starting out on the cello, this will be your starting point and foundation to get you started.
And if you already have experience, my lessons will serve as a deepening experience and help you incorporate new elements into your playing that will make making music easier.

It's a great joy for me to accompany each of my students on their journey of learning this wonderful instrument. I give my best in every moment and approach each student individually – up to the level you wish to achieve.

Hi! I'm Goeunsol, South Korean Cellist based in Berlin. I teach mostly online, in person at students' location by case.

My lessons are welcome for Cellists at all level, beginners, advanced, music students in need to prepare for exams. I am trained with methods such as Suzuki- I as well started myself learning Cello with Suzuki!

As a performing musician, I've played as a soloist in a variety of countries, with several national-/international orchestras and have been selected as a Series Performing Artist of Kukje Art Hall in Seoul, having solo recitals every season since 2019. I have participated in international music festivals including Encuentro de Santander in Spain, am currently academist of Zermatt Festival Academy in Switzerland.

Dear music lover,

As an experienced and certified cellist / orchestra musician from Lisboa, Portugal, with several years of teaching, I accompany children, beginners, adults and advanced students into their musical dream and future.

I studied Classical Cello with distinction in Athens and trained further with eminent teachers such as Dimitrios Gouzios, Catalin Ilea, and Lucio Amanti. Since relocating to Berlin in 2008, I’ve been immersed in experimental, free jazz, and contemporary music scenes.

I perform in projects like Black Veil and Antiqva, have composed for theater (including The Robbers at Meiningen National Theater), and worked in film & art productions collaborating with composers like Johnny Klimek and Mario Grigorov.

Teaching is a core part of my musical mission. I believe technique should serve expression — and that every student’s voice is unique. Whether your goal is mastery of classical works, sonic experimentation, or composing your own music, I aim to support your growth with clarity, empathy, and creative openness.
