Trusted teacher: Hi, I am Paige, a Leeds based vocal coach and I offer lessons 1 to 1 at home (with recent events I am teaching online via Zoom). I began singing at a young age and began to train my vocals at the age of 11, I have recently finished my final year at university and am set out to graduate with a 1st in professional music performance. Each lesson is catered to what each client wishes to improve upon/achieve, whether that be working on your pitch and tone, improving breathing techniques or preparing for a performance/audition. All skill levels are welcome from working on singing as a hobby or wanting to graduate to a more professional level. Lessons begin with a 10 to 15-minute vocal warm-up that is tailored to the clients’ vocal ability, this may be altered on the spot fit how the client is feeling on any given day (i.e. if they aren’t feeling their best vocally, the warm-up can be adapted to be gentler in order to avoid any damage to the voice). Skills we will look to improve during lessons include: - breathing technique - pitch correction - tonality - speech quality - strengthening both the upper and lower register - belting - stage presence - mic technique

I am a professional music teacher, and I specialize in drums, guitar, and piano. I have been highly recommended and described by my previous students as 'fun and easy to get along with', 'very easy to understand and learn from', and 'a talented music teacher with a professional and enjoyable attitude'. I teach from a beginner to an expert level on each instrument and absolutely love to inspire all generations to enhance their musical skills to the fullest. I am currently looking to take on younger students nearer the beginner level, but am more than happy to take on intermediate to advanced musicians of all ages as well. I teach in a very practical way, encouraging students to take what I show them step by step, as I break down and go through each task with them, working at a pace which suits them best. I will work to strengthen the student's ability behind the instrument as a whole, whilst focusing on their areas that need development and introducing new, challenging exercises each lesson, which will allow them to improve at a healthy pace. My aim above all else is to make sure the student enjoys themselves and comes out of every lesson feeling eager and excited for the next one! With that I aim to get the student as comfortable and confident behind the instrument as possible and to inspire them to express themselves through it. Side note: I only teach Grades on the drums (up to Grade 8), and guitar (up to Grade 4). I do not teach Grades on the piano, as I much prefer to teach on playing ability and self-expression through the instrument rather than sight-reading. However, other than sight-reading, I am happy to teach everything you will find in the Graded books and more. I teach anything from classical to contemporary music on the piano.

It is perfect to create any genre you want, pushing you to avoid to use the usual loops and trying to build amazing original and professional traks. I work in this field for 7 years and I released a lot of tracks with different labels (like the impressed music of New York), in addition I produced a lot of tracks for numerous artists. So... I'm a composer of electronic music, cellist and artist. I have been teaching at university and privately to a wide range of students from children to adults. I can offer introductory lessons in composition using music technology, cello performance, music theory and history. My aim is to foster creative practice, critical thinking, individual growth and wellbeing through the experience of music-making. The teaching methods I use are based on humanist theories where my role is that of a facilitator. As a teacher, I see myself as supporting students’ individual creative development and my approach changes according to each student’s learning needs and backgrounds. Reflection and evaluation are key principles I adopt in my teaching practice. Exchange and dialogue allow students to reflect on their own and others’ work, to put their practice into context, and to critically engage with the subjects taught.
