French For Not So Dummies - let's make you fluent!

The French language can come across as a very difficult one (I know...). With my teaching experience, my experience as a translator and love for my mother tongue, I believe I can make you change your mind and help you becoming fluent or at least help you understand much more of this "langue de l'amour". Together, we can find the topic(s) in which you are interested and start from there.

Keeping in mind that practice makes perfect, I believe writing essays (and improving them afterwards) helps. I therefore often give short assignments to keep the learning process going after the class.

I have been teaching online for the last few months and came up with some new ideas, so whether we organise the class online or somewhere in Berlin, is entirely up to you!

So, when should we start? :)

About Me

I started teaching kids and teens a few years ago, and I found it so amazing that they would be able to speak a new language so fast. I then taught to adults and it was so interesting to be able to see how eager they were to learn, but also be able to learn a lot from them. As everyone is unique, they all shared a bit of their background.

This is what I love about teaching: I get to share my passion for languages (as translator), but I also get to learn a lot from each and everyone of my students!

Education

Master's degree in translation (FR-EN-NL), specialisation in European Affairs.

This Master's allowed me to study in Belgium, and travel to Canada and the UK where I learnt a lot.

I am French and student in Franco-German law at the University of Potsdam, I do my L3 there from the beginning of October until the end of July.
