Teaching philosophy
Playing the flute is much more than just making music.

Education
Dominique is currently studying at the Bern University of the Arts with Adam Walker. In February 2023, she completed her Bachelor's degree there with distinction. Among other works, her graduation concert included the premiere of "Morteratsch" by Céline Fankhauser for flute and orchestra. After graduating from the Gymnasium Thun with a major in mathematics, she studied for a year at the PreCollege of the Musikakademie Basel. Dominique is a two-time first prize winner of the Swiss Youth Music Competition. She also played the first solo flute and piccolo in the regional symphony orchestra Thun the "Jugendsinfonieorchester Arabesque" for two years under the direction of Georgios Balatsinos. In 2020 she won the place as 1st solo flute in the Youth Symphony Orchestra in Bern with which she had the chance to go on tour in Italy in the summer of 2022.
