My name is Texenén, I am a flute/piccolo player living in Maastricht with more than 15 years of teaching experience. Turkish reed flute is an essential instrument of Turkish Classcial Music. It has a deep and dense culture dating from 13. century around. If you want to learn about how to perform it you first need a teacher educated by masters on this field. As of many teachers you can find online but you make sure that not every tutor meets with traditional style. Solfege and method are inseperable parts of the lessons. So for beginners and intermediate students must follow a compotent tutor to learn about the way of classic form.

I hold a Diploma with Distinction from the ARSM and have been won in several prestigious national and international competitions, including Galway flute festival, British Flute society competition for three years. I enjoy teaching both harp and flute at my studio in Worthing and also offer lessons online. I studied at The Royal Academy of Music, London graduating with a first-class Master's degree and an LRAM music teaching qualification.
