I specialize in tutoring GCSE and A-level students hoping to push themselves to achieve their academic goals.
My method is quite simple. Each session will be focused on one subtopic in the curriculum, for example, surds. I will begin with a short mini-test to see what level they are currently working at, this will help me adjust the lesson accordingly. We will subsequently go through the topics material and finish with a few questions, the last of which will be very challenging. I am a strong believer that each student can be their own teacher. Often, I like to take a step back and allow for students to really think about each stage of their working themselves. Mathematics can quite easily be seen as a subject where you learn a formula and put in your values, but it can actually be so much more than that.
I have been tutoring since year 10, beginning with a student in the year above me helping them to achieve their A target. Since then I have taught a range of students from Year 7-Year 12 with varying strengths and weaknesses. Having recently gone through the GCSE system myself I am well aware of what it takes to achieve and exceed predicted grades and I love what I do.

I am a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol achieving upper second-class honours (GPA:3.7).

Throughout my studies I’ve tutored for primary and secondary school students (up to and including GCSE level) in Maths and Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology). I am a friendly, positive and engaging individual able to tailor my tuition to any student’s educational targets and needs. I am really passionate about maths I even did further maths for A levels. I am to make maths fun for all ages. I will go over what your child struggles with. I will probably focus on Key Stage 2, GCSE and A level maths. As I have experience in all of them as I am only in uni.
