About Me
I am an experienced educator and creative producer working for the past 10 years in the fields of music, contemporary art, media production, and broadcasting, both in the UK and abroad. I hold a PhD from the University of Aberdeen and have developed many educational projects as a lecturer and freelance.
I delivered theoretical and practical modules in recording and production techniques covering different media disciplines and industry practices in film, radio, electronic music and collaboration. I taught over 300 students with incredible talent. Some of them are now professional musicians, designers and engineers. My students praised my knowledge, passion for the subject and industry and creative flare.
I developed and delivered various modules encompassing audio practices for radio and podcasting, film and music theory, media writing, multimedia production, music production, performance, cultural research practice, sound studies, hybrid media, advanced design projects, dissertations, postgraduate supervision, and courses on composition for contemporary dance and theatre, as well as composing with sound.
Throughout my career, I practised interdisciplinary education. My teaching philosophy revolves around student-centred education, prioritising individual critical thinking and creative development. I believe in creating an inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to actively engage in discussions and share their ideas.
