Private Painting and Drawing lessons, any level! I am a classically trained painter, I have been painting seriously for 20 years and studied intensively in Florence, Italy. I will teach you the basics about light, form, line, colour and space, and how to constantly grow and improve. We start with drawing from observation and continue to other mediums, including oil paint, once the student is ready.

Landscape, still life, portrait, expressive. My goal is to help my students improve every time and reach a new level. I provide many examples from art history as well as my own work, and give lots of demonstrations. I offer a personalized approach fitted to each student.

The classes are in a small group format, no more than 4 at a time and each student works at their own pace, it is private classes with other students present, offering a supportive environment in which to learn and grow. Each student receives personalized instruction at their own level. Each student is guaranteed to improve.

I ask for a commitment of 5 lessons at a time to see some improvement, and I accept students who are looking for longer term learning. Commitment is a must to grow! Try out one lesson to see if the class is a good for for you. My students tend to stay with me for the long term, if it is the right fit.

The classes take place in my studio in the charming location of Grand Hospice, a converted hospice in the city center of Brussels.

About Me

I am classically trained oil painter, I have been painting for 12 years. I studied intensively in Florence, Italy for 4 years, because I wanted to learn to paint like the masters. My approach is based on observation as well as conceptualization, to be in control of the painting and create high quality art works. I offer a personalized approach to fit each students needs, and it is my pleasure to help people achieve their goals and move forward.

I have up to 3 years experience as a graphic designer and illustrator within a Book Publishing House. By being part of the bookmaking process from the very beginning, I shared my ideas in brainstorming meetings along with the account managers, the editorial team and the art director on the projects. I was able to grow my organizational and planning skills by creating designs for covers and interior layouts, by illustrating book covers and short stories, and by delivering print ready files for many projects at the same time. Besides licensed publishing and in-house projects, I am also involved in producing advertising materials for our projects, such as flyers, posters and banners for online and offline marketing and attention to details is my little name.

I am a young professional in the film industry, I have collaborated with multiple partners such as Vice, Sony, Unicef, WWF, but also many musicians, architects, non-profit companies and independent creators.
I have experience as a director, editor, dop, editing assistant, focus puller, author, electro, and production assistant.

I've studied 5 years of Cinema in Luca Arts Brussels, and one year of Supermedia studies in Prague Umprum.
My strengths lie especially in combining the musical field with the cinematographic point of view, such as experimental video art, arthouse movies, videoclips but also dance and musici films - although I've trained to become a co-ordinator of team-work and an efficient editor too.
I work for corporate companies, big music industries and very small independent projects as well, depending whether or not I like the music. (hihi)

The software I recommend is the full adobe kit, musically, I can work with ableton, audacity and a little bit with pro tools too.
