Trusted teacher: Oil painting is arguably both the most rewarding and the most forgiving medium. Often misunderstood as too difficult and chemical-reliant, you will be shown how simple it can be to produce the most vibrant and atmospheric images. This class is applicable to all levels of skill, branching off into more complex ideas about image-making for those who already have experience with the medium. In such instances, we can begin to look at indirect painting approaches including underpainting and glazing.
