I am Rachel, an Architect / Artist and a qualified TEFL teacher.

About Me
Hello all! I am Rachel, an Architect / Artist and a qualified TEFL teacher. I recently illustrated, wrote, and published a children' picture book and have been selling merchandise for my own company.

I was born and raised in Hong Kong, moved to the UK 16 years ago so I am fluent in English, Mandarine and Cantonese. I can work with standard textbooks and use authentic material to keep the lesson engaging, fun and fruitful. As a RIBA certified Architect, I have knowledge and experience in architecture and Art, and I am more than happy to share my learnings with you.

My teaching style is friendly, encouraging, production-oriented but learning in a fun and relaxed way.

Whether you are an adult who wants to improve their English, a student who wants to change and consider your career, or perhaps your children would like tutoring in Chinese whilst doing some artwork, I am the tutor you are looking for.

I look forward to meeting you and to help you in learning a new language or a new skill!

For online classes in art, graphic design, fashion, and games design, here is an updated list of topics, starting with fine art:

Fine Art: Exploring Contemporary Practices – Teach students about contemporary fine art techniques and concepts, including painting, sculpture, and mixed media. Explore how artists today address themes like identity, politics, and culture, and encourage students to develop their own visual language and creative voice through hands-on projects.
