About Me
My work has a strong European identity. My natural curiosity is focused on the materials I use and I draw inspiration from the process of exploring their limitations. The narrative of the work is influenced by my fascination with the ''Beyond'', or what Merleau-Ponty describes as ''The evocative inquiry situated essentially if uneasily between the empirical and the transcendental.
The fine line between depth and emptiness.''
What fascinates me is metaphors, poetry and primordial images /archetypes.
My art is mainly a blueprint to reveal how I perceive the world and it is connected with the traditions that underline our cultural heritage with cross cultural similarities.
All this information is in our collective unconscious, and by creating this work, I am revealing a part of that with as much precision as possible.
