About Me
Hello! I’m an artist and tutor with years of experience as a practicing artist, deeply engaged in contemporary art discussions and exhibitions. My own work is inspired by storytelling, vivid colors, and capturing emotion through texture and detail—an approach I’m passionate about sharing with my students. I believe oil painting is more than just a skill; it’s a way to explore your creativity, tell stories, and connect with your unique perspective. As a teacher, I bring an adaptable, supportive, and encouraging approach to every class. While I may be newer to teaching, my extensive experience in the art world allows me to offer valuable insights into both technical skills and creative processes. My lessons are designed to be flexible, meeting you at your current skill level and helping you grow at your own pace. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to expand your techniques, my classes provide a mix of structure and creative freedom to help you build confidence and uncover your artistic voice.
Who I Work With
I love working with students who are curious about art and excited to learn—whether you’re a beginner exploring oil painting for the first time or an emerging artist seeking fresh inspiration. I particularly enjoy teaching individuals who are open to experimenting and embracing the unexpected; the best art often comes from pushing beyond what you thought was possible!

CINEMA, ACTING, IMPROVISATION WORKSHOPS - - -These sessions allow the development of skills and knowledge of the trade, with the game facing the camera, familiarization with the audiovisual environment and the camera tool, in the art of acting.
Your inventiveness and your uniqueness being at the center of your training, it is a question of dwelling on the objective criteria, such as the voice, the use of the body, the relationship with the partner, the capacity to occupy the space. But it is also the singularity and the commitment that are decisive.
The objective of this training is to be able to:
- Analyze and dissect a text
- Create, develop and embody a character
- Understand the artistic and technical writings of a film or a play
- Create, cultivate and develop one's artistic identity and singularity
(...)
Through simulations and role-playing, the association between theory and practice makes it possible to achieve its objectives.
PLACES :
- Locations: Geneva - Lausanne - Friborg - Neuchâtel - Montreux - Basel - Sion - Sierre - Morges - Bienne. But currently and until further notice, only by videoconference in accordance with national recommendations on Covid.
These sessions, for which you have asked me, also seem to be perfectly unanimous since they arouse a certain enthusiasm (and a certain enthusiasm). Indeed, they have the advantage of face-to-face sessions (ex: quality of the interaction), without its disadvantages (ex: loss of travel time) with additional advantages (ex: the entire session transcribed in writing on the chat). That is why, at your request, I continue to offer this option.
- As other people do regularly, you can also please your loved ones by offering gift vouchers available all year round.

Painting Tutor: Discover and develop your artistic languageI am an artist and philosopher from Amsterdam currently living in Antwerp. I studied in London where I acquired a BA from Art Academy London and a BA in philosophy from St Mary's University London.
Artistic development starts by identifying your artistic interest. As artists, we don’t always know why we draw and paint the things that we do. Yet they are not random. What captivates us or draws us towards certain artworks? This might be the tonal way in which light reflects, structural forms or mathematical division. The point being, is that we all have such aesthetic interests and step 1 is finding out what interests you!
Step 2 is helping you express your interests through painting techniques, styles and materiality. But it all starts with you. What do you want to say? And how? I will help you do this through discussion, looking at your previous work (if you have any), introducing you to a LARGE variety of artists, potentially copying their styles. I adjust my classes according to your needs.
The goal is simple: to come to understand your artistic interest, help you find techniques to express them and develop your artistic language.
(Please note that just because you have found an artistic interest and a way to express it, it does not mean that you must do only one thing for the rest of your life. It is the downfall of creativity to repeat and paint the same way over and over again. Instead, allow your interests to drive your creativity. Let it be the starting point, venture out and discover it from various angles and ways of expressing it. But also be mindful that as we grow our interests can change and as they change, we must remain honest and respond accordingly such that our artistic language can also grow.)
Have questions? Don’t hesitate to message me! I can tailor a class to your needs :)

Art classes (oil painting, drawing, comics, illustration, etc.)Learning to draw or paint is not just about "reproducing well," but more importantly, about developing creativity. My classes emphasize developing the imagination while incorporating a rich and relevant knowledge of art history. Students thus improve both their technical drawing skills and their deeper understanding of art.
