Hello everyone!

My name is Maksim, and I am a first-year Environmental Engineering student from Bosnia and Herzegovina, currently studying in Budapest.
I offer language lessons in three languages:
• Italian (up to B2 level) – for beginners or those preparing for the CILS exam (I passed B2 last year).
• English (up to C1 level, IELTS preparation) – We won't just do grammar; we’ll use real-world articles (science, art, history) to bridge the gap to a high C1 level.
• Serbian (native) – for anyone interested in learning from scratch or improving
I adapt my lessons to your preferences and focus on making them interactive, relaxed, and enjoyable. I understand how difficult it can be to speak a new language, so I always create a safe, judgment-free environment where mistakes are part of learning. No boring textbooks—we use music, videos, and real conversation.

Whether your goal is passing a language exam, improving your English for work, preparing for life abroad, travelling, or simply becoming a more confident speaker, I'll help you get there.

I have 2 years of teaching experience abroad and a TESOL qualification. My lessons focus on speaking, natural communication, and helping you use English confidently in real-life situations.

I teach American English, so if your dream is to sound like a 19th-century British prince... I'm probably not your guy. :)

I can help you with:
• Conversation and speaking confidence
• Language exam preparation
• Business English
• English for travelling or living abroad
• Understanding films, series, videos and other English-language content without constantly reaching for the subtitles

I use interactive exercises, conversation, real-world examples and varied materials to keep lessons practical and engaging.

Most importantly, the lessons are adapted to you. Your level, goals, interests and learning style determine what we focus on.

I teach students from age 12 to 50+, from beginners to advanced learners. There's no awkward “you should already know this” attitude here. You learn at your own pace, with patience, practice and steady progress..

If you're looking for relaxed, practical English lessons where you'll actually get to use the language, I'd be happy to work with you!

Middle and High School classes are an important piece to their development and future academics. As a former Middle and High School teacher in the US, I've been supporting students to better understand, enjoy, and get ahead in their mathematics and English classes.

I've been involved in teaching for almost a decade, won Teacher of the Year twice, and set records for student test scores in Mathematics. I bring a unique approach to every student based on their needs and goals. My former students have gone on to top American universities, increased their university entrance test scores by more than 30%, and succeed on Hungarian high school mathematics entrance exams.
