My Method of Teaching, 1st Class and Further Lessons

Our first class will be "Getting to Know You". Your English level, your goals and your interests. It is important for my students to feel comfortable during their first class. To be able to ask questions and interact with confidence is important.
Further lessons will have a "Lesson Plan" which you will receive before our lesson so that you can review the lesson and know what we will be working on for your lesson. We will cover all aspects of the English Language, improving your speaking, reading and writing.
Learning should be fun and making mistakes is also a way of learning, so you should never worry about errors. I will correct and explain the reasoning for this.

About Me

Hello, my name is Lin and I am a very patient and understanding. My homeland is Ireland however, I have travelled and lived in Southern Africa, Malta, Ibiza and Spain. My home base is now Spain, and I love living in this beautiful country. I like my English classes to be fun, not boring! I use topics when teaching, based on my student's interests. I also teach online and connect with students from all around the globe. I love this as I learn so many new things about culture, country and its people. I teach students from the age of 16 years old to adults. I teach General English and Business English. I look forward to meeting new students. I have been teaching English for over 15 years.

University Degree and TEFL Certificate. I also completed a teaching course with a voluntary organisation while living in Africa and taught voluntarily in some of the deprived areas.

Hi, welcome to my profile. My nationality is Irish, and I teach English to students from 13 years old to adults. I teach general English and Business English. My classes are informal, and I try to make them interesting and exciting. I teach Intermediate to Advanced levels. We work on selected topics, ensuring that you cover reading, vocabulary building and speaking skills. I am patient and understanding. I encourage my students to be relaxed and comfortable and ask questions. I like to base topics for study on students' interests.
