Hello!! Do you like dancing and flamenco? This is your place! I am Marta, teacher, dancer and pedagogue of Spanish dance and flamenco.
Dance and dance are tools that not only make us enjoy, but also provide us with different benefits in their practice: coordination, rhythm, concentration, emotional benefits, and a long etcetera. I have been dedicating my entire life to dance and combining it with my studies in teaching. As a dance teacher and pedagogue, I love teaching through rhythm, music and dance, since all learning together with them is much more significant.
Therefore, I offer to teach what I know to whoever really loves this world. I offer to teach all types of dances: classical dance, Spanish dance (castanets and heels), folklore and flamenco. These classes can be in person to be more efficient, although if they are online I will try to squeeze in as much as possible. My classes are not only intended for professionals but for all types of people, from any level and I will adapt to their needs.
Do you want to learn to dance sevillanas? to play the castanets? Do you want to know a little more about flamenco or dance in general? Do you want to find out what differences there are between Spanish dance and flamenco? Do not hesitate to contact me.

^^ Drum classes are for all levels and ages. Whether you are a parent who wants to target their child or if you are a parent who has learned to learn at the age of 40, I can teach both of you to play. The methodology focuses on the student's tastes, focusing on the fundamental pillars that need to be learned to enjoy and learn to play the drums. (***) Technique, posture, rhythms, fills etc

We will focus the djembé on the basic hits that there are and then we will focus on its culture: African music.

DO NOT HESITATE TO SIGN UP, YOU WILL LOVE IT, MANY STUDENTS ALREADY TELL ME AND WE HAVE A VERY GOOD TIME IN CLASSES

I'm a bass player and composer, a graduate from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow (UK). I've got over fifteen years of experience in teaching music and I offer one-to-one lessons in:

• Composing
• Arranging
• Electric Bass (Jazz and other modern music - No Classical)
• Double Bass (Jazz and other modern music - No Classical)
• Music Theory
• Jazz Harmony
• Notation with Sibelius software
• Ensemble and Musicianship

Although my method is tailored to each student's needs, I structure it as follows:

• Establish a connection with the pupil by understanding their needs and musical objectives.
• Design a path tailored to the pupil's goals that uses and develops any pre-existing knowledge and skills.
• Guide the student in comprehending the theory behind the basic elements of music, such as scales and arpeggios.
• Introduction to the notions of tonality, harmony and harmonic analysis.
• Development of the notions of melody, form and structure.
• Guide the pupil in understanding the application of different techniques of approaching the composing process, in order to establish a personal method.
• Understanding the specific musical language of different genres such as Jazz, Blues, Rock, Funk, Pop y Folk through listening and transcriptions.
• Analysis of scores and arrangements of other composers.
• Practical composing exercises based upon the studied techniques.

I can teach either in English, Italian or Spanish and the lessons can be in person at my place or yours, or via Zoom.

As a private violin teacher, I always adapt my lessons to the student's needs and goals. My methodology combines instrumental technique with musical development, so that the student not only learns to play correctly but also to express themselves on the instrument. I work closely with active listening, body posture, and musicality from day one.

A typical class begins with warm-up and technique exercises (bowing, tuning, fingering), continues with a study of a piece or excerpt adapted to the student's level, and ends with practical tips for home study. I always include a moment of reflection to answer questions and consolidate what has been learned.

What distinguishes me as a teacher is my ability to motivate and inspire enthusiasm for music, thanks to my experience as a violinist and conductor. I firmly believe that everyone can find their own voice through the violin, and I strive to create a positive and dynamic environment.

I also offer support in music theory, sheet music reading, and ear training.
