Home-based Math Tutoring - Primary and Middle School - 4 years of experience

From 24 £ /h

As a private math tutor, I come to your home around Chambéry to help your child from CP to 3rd grade.

💰 Price and tax credit

An hour of lessons costs €45.18, including contributions. The state covers half of this cost.
Thanks to the immediate advance payment of the tax credit, you only pay €22.59 per hour. Nothing upfront, nothing to wait for the following year.
Payment by CESU (I will help you create the account during the first lesson, it takes 10 minutes).
No obligation. No travel expenses.

📚 For whom?

Your child has accumulated gaps in knowledge, is stuck on their exercises, is losing confidence, is preparing for the brevet exam or entering 6th grade.
Mental arithmetic, fractions, relative numbers, proportionality, percentages, algebraic calculation, equations, geometry (Pythagoras, Thales, areas and volumes).

✏️ How does a class work?

We take stock of what's holding us back, review the theory, and then move on to practical exercises. I finish with a summary of the session's successes to boost confidence.
I prepare each session according to the program and the difficulties of your child, and I have regular check-ins with you.

🎓 Preparing for the Brevet Exam

From March to June: review of the chapters that come up most often, practice with past papers, writing methods and time management.

👋 Who am I?

Jérémy, the eldest of five children, holds a degree in mechanical design. I have been giving private lessons for 4 years to children aged 6 to 14.
Rated 4.9/5 based on 13 parent reviews.

I am a student in Biology, with a Bac S.
I give courses from high school to high school in science subjects (maths, physics, chemistry, SVT) and in English.
Chambéry and surroundings.
I have experience in Bac and patent preparation, homework help, upgrades ...
For spring / summer, I offer intensive courses and preparation for exams and for the 2015/2016 school year.
Do not hesitate to contact me.

Teacher with a doctorate in computer science and with 8 years of experience in university teaching and 5 years in high school offers private lessons in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or SVT (Earth Sciences and Life), and Computer Science , in primary, middle, high school and post-baccalaureate (license, prep or other).
Intensive courses during school holidays, including July-August.
All levels.
Courses for adults in Computer Science (Internet, office automation and programming).
Classes taught in French or Spanish.

COURSES ONLY BY VISIO (Skype)

Students at the same level will be placed in group classes by videoconference because teamwork benefits learning, with of course very small groups (2 students on average).
Individualization remains the heart of my priorities to meet everyone's needs and develop self-confidence.

Regular or one-off academic support for all college-level subjects except Spanish and German.
My courses can be divided into two parts and works not only the courses where the child has difficulties, but also the methodology (how to learn better lessons, what kind of memory corresponds to us, ...).
First year student of Master Meef, I am passionate about working with children. In 2015-2016, I realized school accompaniment within an association which led me to follow six students. Last year I accompanied a third for patent preparation (which she had with honors). I like school accompaniment for the enriching contact of students, and the satisfaction of seeing my students progress.

17-year-old girl currently in terminale S.
I spent one school year abroad (South Korea) and has a good level of English.
Very interested in literary subjects despite my scientific orientation, I will be happy to teach classes or simply propose activities, or just a first approach to children between 3 and 14 years old.

Student in STAPS at Bourget-du-Lac and holder of a BAC Scientist, I offer courses of support and homework assistance in mathematics, physical sciences, chemistry, and life sciences and Earth for students of primary school in high school.

English is an international language, so we need to to know how to speak, to read and to write it. It is very useful for doing a business, traveling foreign countries and finding a job. Beside your mother tongue language, it will more better to know other languages as many as you can for your bright future.

I absolutely love teaching and inspiring passion for maths while creating a peaceful atmosphere. I fluently teach in French and English. (I can also teach for beginners in Spanish.)

Engineer from INSA (France)/Trondheim Engineering University (Norway, best ranked engineering school of Norway) / 10 years of tutoring experience with all ages / Volunteer in associations of homework help for fellow students

Do you want to significantly increase your or your child's mathematical average?
Do you want your child to regain confidence in themselves when doing maths?
Do you want your child to integrate a selective course?

My method:
- In the short term, significantly increase the average by assimilating the course and preparing for the next tests (assimilating the course, testing assimilation, practicing standard exercises, anticipating teacher expectations and test questions, having methods of writing);
- In the medium term, integrate reasoning and work methods (learn to work regularly in this order: assimilation, training exercise, preparation for the test and analysis of pass tests);
- In the long term, set a goal, build the steps to reach this goal, become aware of the SIMPLICITY of math, have confidence in your abilities, release your potential).

The formula I suggest you: a course of 1h30 / 2h per week for the assimilation of the current chapter + a course before the test. It goes without saying that I am more than happy to offer more lessons!

# 1: The first class is a test class
# 2: I come to your home or the organise the class online
# 3: You/your child can contact me whenever!

If you want to increase your or your child's math results, contact me before the next test!

Maths and English are two main pillars that will ultimately make it easier for you to find an internship, an apprenticeship or even a job.
I would be delighted to share my knowledge in these two areas in order to help you progress and why not like these subjects!
