Learn the history of the arts: learn and deepen

Translated by Google. Click to view original.
The history of the arts is my passion, my hobby and the subject of my license in Humanities, as well as my specialty at the BAC. Whether you are preparing for college or high school exams, whether you are passionate about a certain period or a certain movement, or even want to be initiated, this course is for you! In a playful form, it will be a question of learning more about the different artists and thinkers of History and especially of understanding their implication on our current world. It will be a question of putting an end to the belief that the history of the arts is reserved for the elite, because it can light up the life of each one. I can advise you on writings, films, magazines, broadcasts, series ... which make art history and art history an affordable and fundamental discipline.

I have one year of experience in homework assistance, and another year of experience in monitoring young people in a cultural awareness association.
This course is intended for pupils, students or interested who wish to deepen and strengthen their knowledge in literary subjects. The subjects taught are: philosophy, French literature, English literature, history, geography, history of the arts.
This course is intended for schoolchildren up to the Terminale level. It is an aid for the French program as well as preparation for the exams for the certificate or the bac. It will be a question of reinforcing the acquired knowledge, of solving problems in a playful and innovative way and of gaining self-confidence with regard to writing exercises, commentary or even dissertation.
Master student in translation, I am available to help you solidify your knowledge of the English language, initiate the little ones or allow you to acquire specific notions (deepening in literature, civilization or even practical activities like writing your CV in English). I can help with the preparation of exams or professional interviews. I can provide translation techniques in version (from English to French) and in theme (from French to English). I can provide support in written and oral expression as well as in written and oral comprehension, in a fun way if you wish.
This course is intended for students of preparatory class as well as those of license. It aims to provide support in the literary commentary exercises, version (translation from English to French) and theme (translation from French to English). It will be a question of targeting your needs in order to remedy them effectively. We will work from translation methods which I will adjust to your specific needs. I adapt to your requests, we can work on the texts that make you happy and those that cause you the most problems.
Writing is a complex process, be it writing a novel, poetry, an essay or even a diary. I write since my 8 years and I have since developed a writing program (via mediation and automatic writing) which allowed me to write essays on art and write many short stories, including some have been published in school newspapers. This course is intended for all interested and aims to choose a different angle to solve white page syndrome. Together we can learn what are the best tools for you to express your creativity.
You do not understand anything about the philosophical texts, the thought of the authors or even the dissertation method? Do not panic ! My course aims to make philosophy understandable, even fun. This course is intended for beginners who feel lost and who do not really understand certain concepts. It will be a question of drawing up a clear model of the various philosophical thoughts to calmly approach the tests of the vat.

Palette Pals: Fundamentals of Color, Texture, and Forms
The best part about art is that it is subjective! If you have prior experience that you’d like to share or you’re looking to gain skill, I offer a fun and supportive environment with various mediums. With handmade projects and interactive lessons, I teach fundamental art which is easy on the eyes. I am state certified gifted in Visual Arts in the state of Ohio, but my focus has always been on illustration for children’s novels or creating works of peace and ease. I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen. I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns. In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on. You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns. Finding, discussing and retaking solutions together are the core of my classes.

Classical drawing and painting techniques for beginners and advanced
I teach (one-on-one) in my studio and online(internationally)covering painting and drawing techniques for beginners, advanced students, and aspiring art school applicants. I have a series of significant artistic achievements, having been awarded in the most prestigious international figurative art competitions—competitions that value study, hard work, and knowledge. I have studied art throughout my life and I always strive to reach a high level of performance, with the goal of passing on everything I have learned at the highest standard. Throughout my career, I have helped many individuals push their limits and improve their artistic techniques—some doing it as a hobby, others achieving exceptional results in the entrance exams for art and architecture universities. These courses are personalized for any level and age, following a systematic process. Topics include: portraiture, the human figure, anatomy, still life, landscapes, the science of light and shadow, drawing/painting techniques, color theory, perspective, design, etc. I am also open to collaborations for workshops in any city—art classes on various themes such as classical and realistic, impressionist, or even modern approaches, all based on principles learned from Old Masters’ techniques. These are systems and procedures taught only in Florence, where I also studied for a period. These techniques are not commonly known or practiced in schools in Romania. Since a portfolio is important in showcasing the level of an art teacher, you can view examples (drawings, paintings) from my personal portfolio and a description of my career on my website, tusaiart. Another important point is that I offer strictly one-on-one teaching sessions—not group lessons with 5–10 students per session. Over 10 years of teaching experience Extensive experience in the field of art: I started working with pencil and brush in kindergarten, and for nearly 30 years I have continued to practice this passion intensively, always aiming to become one of the best in the field.

    Idris
Painting Tutor: Discover and develop your artistic language
I am an artist and philosopher from Amsterdam currently living in Antwerp. I studied in London where I acquired a BA from Art Academy London and a BA in philosophy from St Mary's University London. Artistic development starts by identifying your artistic interest. As artists, we don’t always know why we draw and paint the things that we do. Yet they are not random. What captivates us or draws us towards certain artworks? This might be the tonal way in which light reflects, structural forms or mathematical division. The point being, is that we all have such aesthetic interests and step 1 is finding out what interests you! Step 2 is helping you express your interests through painting techniques, styles and materiality. But it all starts with you. What do you want to say? And how? I will help you do this through discussion, looking at your previous work (if you have any), introducing you to a LARGE variety of artists, potentially copying their styles. I adjust my classes according to your needs. The goal is simple: to come to understand your artistic interest, help you find techniques to express them and develop your artistic language. (Please note that just because you have found an artistic interest and a way to express it, it does not mean that you must do only one thing for the rest of your life. It is the downfall of creativity to repeat and paint the same way over and over again. Instead, allow your interests to drive your creativity. Let it be the starting point, venture out and discover it from various angles and ways of expressing it. But also be mindful that as we grow our interests can change and as they change, we must remain honest and respond accordingly such that our artistic language can also grow.) Have questions? Don’t hesitate to message me! I can tailor a class to your needs :)
