My name is Mark. I'm a PhD research candidate in Dublin City University's School of English and I am on the verge of completing my thesis, the focus of which is experimental literature.
In addition to my soon to be completed PhD, I have a First Class Honors M.A. in Creative Writing from UCC and a First Class Honors B.A. in English and Psychology.
Throughout the last four years, I have taught English literature to undergraduates students, with a focus on novels, short stories, drama and poetry. Additionally, I teach life writing to a group of non-traditional, mature students as part of the university's Love of Lifelong Learning Programme.
The grinds I offer will be conversational, enthusiastic and empathetic. It is my belief that in order to excel at a subject, you must first learn how to find it interesting. I'll help with that!
