About Me

I'm a PhD candidate in neuropsycholinguistics and consultant to private clients. My advisory clients include the House of Lords, the NHS, People Primetime International, the Manchester Metropolitan University, Falmouth University, the Emotional Intelligence Academy, the YMCA, the Y Club, the Castelfield Hotel, the National Citizenship Service, Equal Education, etc. My mentoring clients range pre-academic, academic, and professional contexts. My PhD research examines the composite language and communication phenomena of schizophrenia, as relative to figurative language processing, using experimental psycholinguistic methods; my master's dissertation focused on paralinguistics: blended displays (i.e. complex facial expressions) of emotion; and my bachelor's took the form of a stylistics combined honours (i.e. linguistics with creative writing). My vocational experience includes a substantive clinical education post within NHS psychiatric services—specifically, as an interpersonal communications tutor; in parallel, I've provided consultancy services since 2011.

Do you want to learn to write better? My lessons or coaching for creative writing can help you with that. Writing prose, poetry, columns or other texts: it is all possible. I have a university degree in cultural and literary sciences and I also supervise two monthly writing groups in Eindhoven. You can email your texts or stories in advance, then I will already view them. My writing coaching covers both the creative aspects and the technical aspects such as grammar and spelling, if necessary. I also explain literary techniques based on examples from good writers. For the writing group you can check out my other creative writing ad. You can also receive lessons by mail, you then send the texts. In addition, explanation via Skype and telephone is possible. Maksims
Storytelling. Starting point of a good story or script.
Stories are as old as we are, but if you want to put a story on paper or portray a story, it turns out to be more difficult than talking to your friends. How about now? Not what you tell, but HOW you tell it is the most important. The basics and how to use psychology to write a story, this is what you will learn anyway. Those who want to continue afterwards will learn how to write a script. Fiction or facts, you decide what you want to learn.
