I give lessons in Business English to adults who need it for their professional purposes. I lived in England. I studied in England. And I worked in England. So, English is almost my second mother tongue. Besides, I worked for 25 years as a public accountant. Always in an English-speaking environment. So, I know business English at an exceptional level.

Every student is a story. We all differ in how we digest information, how we make sense of it, how we interpret it. Hence, education is at its best when it considers the student and his (her) story.

This is where I come in. Offering individualized, customized solutions is where I excel. I have never believed in mass education. It penalizes students who need a personal approach. This also explains why there is no one correct approach.

Memories (synapses) form through repetition. So, to build vocabulary and improve comprehension, it is necessary to read and listen a lot. And to repeat.

I use a full arsenal of different teaching methods, which include:
- PPP (Presentation Practice Production);
- TPR (Total Physical Response);
- BDA (Before, During, After);
- CBL (Context-based learning) and
- TBL (Task-Based Learning).

It always depends on the student, the time available and his (her) objectives.

About Me
I am a freelance teacher, consultant, and writer of teaching materials based in Normandy, France. I have been teaching since May 2021. But I also have over 25 years of experience in public accounting. I have served clients in a variety of different industries in a broad international context. I have always enjoyed working on complex problems.

My greatest accomplishment to date has been serving as President and CEO of a mid-sized manufacturing company. My second greatest accomplishment was developing a strategy for an innovative fashion company.

I graduated from the military institute in 1989 with my very first degree in languages. The Military Institute was one of the most prestigious educational centers in the USSR. My second education, that of a manager and an auditor, I received from several institutions between 1994 and 2011. I got my first degree in economics at the London School of Economics (LSE). I entered as one of the first thirty students from the former Soviet Union.

I have one passion. Studying. Between 2021 and 2022, I obtained five Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certificates. After completing 260 hours of training. The training organization received the Queen's Award for Enterprise 2022. This is the most prestigious award a British company can win. So I am very proud to have graduated from such a reputable institution.

Currently, I am an independent trainer and author of study materials in Normandy, France. I have been teaching since May 2021. My professional experiences in continuing education and online teaching have allowed me to adapt to different environments and to build a concrete pedagogy. My approach is based on attentive listening and a personalized response to the student's needs. I teach at home, online and in training organizations. My status allows me to work as an employee or as an independent trainer.

The most important thing is to choose topics that interest the student. When such a topic exists, the learning will not only be useful but also interesting.

I use a full arsenal of different teaching methods, which include:

- BDA (Before, During, After);
- CBL (Context-based learning) and
- TBL (Task-Based Learning).

It always depends on the student, the time available and his (her) objectives.

News and dialogue are among my favorite teaching tools. News is rich in active verbs and essential nouns. And dialogues are rich in functions that native speakers use in everyday life. Plus, together, they make a brilliant mix of formal and informal speech.
