About Me

I built my classes inspired by my personal development and the teachings I received. I adapt to my students to allow them to quickly enjoy while progressing. Thus my courses address all current styles (rock, folk, pop, blues, jazz, ...) and meet the expectations of students of all levels whether on folk guitar or rock guitar. Opportunity to travel to the student's home as reasonable.

Education

I hold a Brevet d'Etudes Musicales (BEM), a National Diploma of Professional Orientation (DNOP) and a Diploma of Musical Studies (DEM) obtained at the Annecy Regional Conservatory and I also have a State Diploma (DE), a National Professional Higher Diploma in Music (DNOP) as well as a musicology license at the higher pole of music education in Burgundy (PESM) in Dijon.

I graduated with a degree in Jazz Music from the Welsh Conservatory of Music and Drama and a Diploma in Pop Music from Guitar X London.

Here, we test your level first then we will work on tablatures of melodies on the start so that you are at the top level of dexterity. And then it's off to the chords and music that you like! Sheet music, oral, visual, annotations or adapted scores are all tools that I keep at my disposal according to needs. Music theory can help some people, in certain forms and in measured doses, while others, on the contrary, do not need it. It does not take me much time to learn to understand you and from the first session I will have targeted one or more approaches that will suit you. I still have one rule at heart, and that is to always maintain musicality and take pleasure even when playing simple things or exercises. Learning should never become a chore and should be a pleasure just as much as enjoying a good level of playing.
