Hi! I'm Léa and I'm a French Erasmus exchange student at the University of Copenhagen this year. I'm in my third year of studies at Sciences Po Toulouse and I'd like to give French and/or English classes for all levels (A1 to C1) a few hours per week. As a French native speaker I would like to give classes to people who wish to learn French or improve their skills in that language. Furthermore, I've a C1 level in English (TOEFL iBT : 100 points in December 2019 ; CEFR level C2) and practise this language since about 10 years. I am a professional percussion player. I graduated from The Royal Danish Music Academy in 2017 and I am currently attending the soloist postgraduate course. Choosing to do music can serve different roles in our lives. It can be a fun hobby and a way to find a private creative space or it can become a profession and a dedicated life choice. My approach to the lessons will therefore change accordingly. In my teaching I like to develop a deep and meaningful relationship with each student according to his/her personality and individuality in order to make each lesson as advantageous as possible. I always hope to encourage within my students a very deep commitment to their instruments and the practice of music. I am very happy to work both with beginners, intermediate and advanced students. With beginners I think it’s important to build a solid technical basis and knowledge of music and solfége and to work on how to build a productive practice routine. Lessons will be structured differently according to the individual, his age and goals, but keeping in mind these targets. When working with more advanced students I like to move the focus more and more to a deeper approach to the music and its meaning. Technic becomes the means to let the musician speak himself through the music he is playing. I think it is very important to let anyone find his own voice in music and explore different genres of music in order to find the one that suits you best.

TOEFL is requested and recognised by numerous educational institutions and other organisations around the world. It is not necessarily a hard test, but it can be tricky and requires practice. With a month of exercises (around 1/2 hours a day), I obtained 119/120. With my class, you will learn how to prepare for the TOEFL in an effective and fun way, in order to be confident and obtain the best possible score during exam day!

Spanish is one of the languages with more native speakers in the world. This class is aimed at people who either want to start learning the language or has already some knowledge. I am a native Spanish speaker who works as a translator and Spanish editor. I have years of experience with private tutoring and teaching English and Spanish at language schools in Spain and Denmark.

Most of my experience in tutoring Spanish is helping students with a medium and advanced level of Spanish. I mostly work with articles and papers to help students to improve reading skills and to expand vocabulary. The topics will depend on the students interests.
