Whether you’re picking up the violin for the first time or looking to take your playing to the next level, my lessons are tailored to your goals, pace, and musical interests.

With over 10 years of teaching experience and more than 20 years as a professional violinist, I offer a balanced approach that combines solid technique with creativity and musical expression. We’ll work on posture, bow control, intonation, vibrato, scales, sight-reading, repertoire, and everything you need to become a confident, versatile musician.

I teach a wide range of styles, from classical music and film scores to pop, jazz, Latin music, and traditional Cuban music. Whether your dream is to perform on stage, play your favourite songs, or simply enjoy making music, lessons are designed to keep you challenged, inspired, and having fun along the way.

Music should never feel intimidating. Expect a supportive atmosphere, plenty of encouragement, and maybe a few laughs between scales.

Great technique is important, but enjoying the journey is what keeps you playing for life :)

Extra information

Please bring your own violin and bow, a notebook for lesson notes, and manuscript (staff) paper for music writing and exercises. If you don’t have an instrument yet, I’d be happy to help you choose one before your first lesson. Lesson materials and repertoire will be provided when needed.
Curiosity is encouraged! Feel free to bring your favourite songs or musical ideas to class-we can often incorporate them into your learning while building strong technique.

I have worked with students from various schools, including local Hong Kong schools, Hong Kong International School, Kowloon Junior International School, and the French International School etc.
