Economics is a subject that is personal and relatable, because you live your life on it!
So this class is going to be interactive and discussion-based, while still keeping to a structure.
We will cover very basic topics as outlined below:
- What is Economics? What is the Law of Demand & Supply?
- Explain the relationship between supply, demand, and prices in a transaction.
- Explore scenarios of disequilibrium & its impact
- Discuss what affects choice

You won't have any assignments, but you'll have to participate in the discussion.
Don't worry! These are all practical and everyday experiences. And at the end of the session, you'd have realised that our choices and what affects them, can explain what happens in market transactions.

About Me
I'm collaborative and analytical so sessions with me will be interactive and will draw a lot from the student's perspective. I like to challenge students to explain concepts and learnings in their own words. I enjoy listening to student interactions and I am energised by how they understand the world in their own POV.

I have a degree in Economics and have always felt passionate about how practical and real its impact is to our daily lives. It makes me understand and appreciate how, for example, countries interact, how trading markets react, how public policy is created and used, how tax laws influence investors, why consumers behave that way, and many others. I hope to inspire students to appreciate learning Economics and realise how it can benefit their lives.

With over a decade of experience in business process improvement, systems and data management, training and developing talent, I can combine both my academic and work experiences in my teaching.
