Hello, I am Charline, 20 years old. I come from France where I did a bachelor's degree in french literature. I have just arrived in Dublin to do a master in Journalism. I am a really motivated person who really gets involved with his students.I love explaining things that people might have trouble to understand. I gave french lessons to a Spanish girl and English lessons to French girls. I helped them to improve their grades. For example one of them had an average in english of 11/20 in the first semester and with my help she obtained 14/20 in the second semester. Learning a new language can be difficult and French is not the easiest language, but I truly believe that with motivation and involvement, anyone, with any level and at any age, can become fluently !

About Me

Learning a new language can be difficult and French is not the easiest language, but I truly believe that with motivation and involvement, anyone, with any level and at any age, can become fluently ! I really love explaining things that people might have trouble to understand, that's why I like giving private lessons.

I adapt myself to the needs of the students and to all levels. I prepare the lessons for what you need. Then, I give exercices to do at home. I always try to keep it fun.

I have a high school diploma in science. I have a bachelor's degree in french modern literature. I have just arrived in Dublin in order to do a master in Journalism.

I teach French in Dublin. After graduating with honours in mathematics and physics-chemistry, I did a degree in mathematics and then went on to business school. It was during my studies that I started giving private lessons in maths and French to English students in Paris. In Paris I gave lessons to more than 5 students of all levels.
I can help with all kinds of needs and objectives, however wide-ranging and different they may be! From those with more or less profound difficulties in the subject, to those aiming for perfection and excellence, to those with more general concerns about their school results.

As far as methodology is concerned, the lessons take place as follows: first we go over the course (essential for success in the exercises), we work together on the points that have not been understood and then we do exercises according to the needs of the student (of increasing difficulty). The aim is to give students back their confidence, and that requires an IMPARABLE grasp of the course! Generally, I recite the lesson and what has been covered in the previous lesson at the beginning of each class, which allows me to see what has been retained and what has been forgotten/misunderstood. Once the student understands and remembers the lesson, progress is considerable and the student regains self-confidence, enabling them to succeed in the exercises. I offer a variety of exercises (written and oral comprehension and written and oral expression).
I try to teach French in a more fun way than in normal lessons so that students want to learn the language.

Finally, I attach great importance to the human aspect, which is why I communicate and exchange a lot with my students and their parents after class and outside of class time. I'm available to my students at any time during the year.

I offer grinds in French at all levels including Leaving Certificate, to Higher Level, Junior Cert, university students of French, beginners and to people of all ages and levels of French language proficiency. I am educated in French to PhD level with C2 level (proficiency) in French and over twenty years teaching experience at secondary, university and adult education levels.
