Science Culture is an educational project which aims to promote scientific interest and literacy among children (Age 6-12) through interactive hands on experiments and model building activities. Our workshops cover a wide range of subject areas within both natural and applied sciences. From Physics to Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry to Material Science, Biology to Genetics, we want to show your children that the wonders of science are not just for white-coat scientists inside the laboratory but indeed, are everywhere for everyone.

I am a native Spanish speaker and a graduate student in Biochemistry at the University of Seville (Southern Spain). I finished my degree two and a half years ago and since then I have been teaching science classes (Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics) to students between 13 and 19 years old. During this time, I have worked in different private schools but also as a private teacher.
I have a great passion for teaching and have been working in a language school in Dublin 4 since September 2019.

In my classes I usually follow a practical methodology that gives quick results and I do evaluations every two weeks.

Having worked as a trainer for close to 3 years for the leaving cert and higher students, I have good exposure to the teaching curriculum and the requirements of a trainer. I look to deliver results and ensure that my students are comfortable and fully informed about the modules.

I have over 10 years experience at helping Students in Senior & Junior Cycles reach their potential and do their best! I come qualified, with a Degree in Economics, Maths & History..

First we would need to address and have a chat about what the student is finding difficult. We will work through our foundation maths/science skills before building on this. I find that is a reason why some students struggle is because they do not have that foundation knowledge. We will work through exam questions together and then independently as this is key for both the Junior Certificate and Leaving Certificate examinations.
