Hello, I am Clément, a passionate musician and current student at EPFL. My musical journey began at the age of 5. For nearly 15 years, I trained at the Avignon Conservatory, working alongside several orchestras and performing numerous solo performances across France. I also hold a degree in musical studies. I have currently trained more than 10 trumpet students.

My goal is to help you build a solid foundation so that you can fully enjoy music. I am open to all styles of music. I adjust my teaching approach with each student to promote their learning.

The trumpet is a demanding instrument but it also offers an escape and an incredible joy which is (in all objectivity ;) ) comparable with any other instrument.

Depending on your needs, an introduction to music theory can be added to the course.

Whether you are a novice or already have some basics, this trumpet course is open to all levels. I hope to have the opportunity to share my passion for music with you!

Extra information

For the first lessons, I can provide you with an instrument. However for practical reasons I would suggest that you invest in a trumpet.

I am an accomplished classical pianist and experienced teacher who offers you piano lessons, at all levels from beginner to advanced, for fun or for serious ones (preparation for competitions, auditions, exams, etc.).

I am a doctoral candidate at the University of Montreal (Canada) and am also pursuing a second Master's degree at the HEM in Geneva. Whether you are an adult or younger, did you know that with the proper methods, follow-up and advice, you can reach in 2 years the equivalent of what is achieved in 10 years in music school? The passion and pleasure of playing will quickly make you forget the minimum 1h30 of daily practice necessary for this beautiful and pleasant feat. This is the challenge I set myself by offering you these courses.

Practicing classical guitar for 27 years, graduated from the National Conservatory of Limoges, I teach guitar (beginner to advanced levels).

My method is distinguished by a perfect combination of high standards and attention paid to the pleasure of playing.

Passionate about music theory (rhythms, musical notations and other aspects that seem tedious to many), I know how to transmit this taste for musical technique.

The pleasure of play develops when you feel your progress, and these come with regular work. I therefore ask for attendance and regularity of at least 1 hour of practice per day. Depending on the students, the frequency of lessons can be bi-weekly or bi-monthly, and will be defined together, while remaining flexible.

I can also advise you on the purchase of a classical guitar.

Note: the practice of the classical guitar requires short nails on the left hand, and nails overflowing just beyond the tip of the finger, on the right hand, at all times. This allows an inimitable sound quality.
