In the field of art you can find plenty of different styles and associate them with a specific artist. Specific styles we will go over include Impressionism, Abstract art, Surrealism, Pop art, Modern art, and Minimalism. As an artist, you'll need to learn how to explore varying styles and creative aspects. I've designed this course as a basic guide on exploring different ways to approach your art and honing on a specific style. You'll learn how to differentiate between various styles, try to develop art in specific styles influenced by famous artists or art periods, and to adapt your own style by using it in a unique way that will define your artworks.

Egg tempera is one of the most ancient historical art painting technique. It preserved as a main technique to paint orthodox religious icons. It is possible to learn it and paint your own icon. I have 9 years of practice teaching people how to do it. We work together step by step to understand the technique, the way to prepare wooden panel to paint an icon and the techniques of making a good project to make the icon fit to the board. We also learn how to make gold leaf layer on the nimbs. Your icon will be a real, crafted icon.

As an aspiring artist, it is expected that you want to learn more on the various techniques that artist use to create amazing works of art. This class is aimed to teach you skills needed for art such as anatomy practice, value and many others.

I am state certified gifted in Visual Arts in the state of Ohio, but my focus has always been on illustration for children’s novels or creating works of peace and ease. In this course you will learn how to look closer at objects, identify proportions, and apply your own style onto your artwork. My course introduces form and structure to younger students, and by the end of each class the student will have created a beautiful artwork. We will take inspiration from the student's interests for drawing subjects. My ultimate goal with this course is to inspire a passion for drawing.

I am Rachel, an Architect / Artist and a qualified TEFL teacher. I was born and raised in Hong Kong, moved to the UK 15 years ago so I am fluent in English, Mandarine and Cantonese. We can have classes online, or, I can babysit at the same time, at mine with my puppy and my husband, or outside in a cafe. I have worked with children at my church in the UK and I can give fun, exciting, innovative, art classes in French (B2 Level). If you are an adult and want more serious lessons, I can provide that.
