I have achieved a 7 ( the highest grade for Chinese in International Baccalaureate Diploma Program) and hope to spread the fun of learning Chinese. GCSE Students, IB Ab initio students are very welcome as well! Lessons can be held in person & online.

About Me

Hello! My name is Vernice. I’m from Singapore and now based in Edinburgh. I graduated from Durham University with a degree in Politics, but teaching and music have always been my biggest joys.

I have several years of experience teaching piano to both children and adults, from total beginners up to ABRSM Grade 3. My lessons are relaxed and encouraging, yet structured enough to help each student make real progress. I always adapt my teaching to suit the individual, because everyone learns differently.

Whether you’re learning for fun or aiming for exams, I want my students to feel confident, curious, and inspired each time they play.
