Student at the University of Edinburgh, I teach French to all levels in person and online. I can help with A-levels, University students, the DELF, and beginners. I have taught French to more than 10+ students from total beginners to university students doing a French degree. I can provide lessons for A-levels and IB. My methodology is personalised depending on the needs and levels of my students.

Born in Paris, France, I attended an international school for 10 years, receiving a bilingual education. In that way, I was nurtured in a world where linguistics is essential. I speak Spanish, French, and English, and I have notions in Chinese. I now study History and Politics at the University of Edinburgh.

Bonjour, I’m a native French student in English studies and I have been a tutor for four years now, to students from the age of 9 to 18 with various learning profiles (dyspraxia, autism, dyslexia).

As a future teacher, the most important thing for me is to learn how to adapt to the students needs and ways of learning. There is no one perfect way to learn a language, and my goal is to help you or your child to find out more about yourself/themself and how your/their brain works ! I had my French baccalaureat in Economics with honours. I am fluent in English and has the IELTS certificate at 8 level.

I have been an examiner for AQA and am familiar with both AQA and Edexcel GCSE and A-level specifications, having taught the Edexcel spec before. I have tutored French to children (beginner to bilingual) and adults. The planning and delivery of my classes will be dependent on the individual needs of my students.

I have also worked as a primary school teacher and am an excellent teacher of primary school maths and English.

French is a very beautiful language but this one is rather complex.
I offer fun learning, adapted to the knowledge of the apprentice. The goal here is to progress by taking the time necessary to memorize each notion.
The first course will focus on an assessment of the apprentice's level in order to subsequently offer a personalized program adapted to level.

I have been teaching French/Russian since I was 14 years old. I helped my classmates pass their French and Russian exams by teaching them vocabulary and grammar. I have also helped them understand history, French and Russian literature, philosophy...

I have also helped kids learn French/Russian from the beginning while concentrating on broadening their general knowledge.

I have different approaches and techniques depending on my student.

-If I teach French/Russian to a kid, the lesson usually lasts for an hour. We play games, watch short movies, sing songs and discuss his topics of interest. The lesson is highly interactive, and the child is highly involved in the process.

-If I teach French/Russian to a student/adult, the lesson may last up to an hour and a half. Methods vary, depending on the level of proficiency in the language. We talk about different topics of interest and develop speaking and writing skills in a way that is interesting to the student.
If interested, French/Russian literature is studied by authors such as Baudelaire/Tolstoy and Maupassant/Turgenev. We could also converse about French/Russian history, culture and the country's traditions.

Languages are the key to success. Being fluent in Spanish, French, and English has opened me so many doors. I would deliver classes in French and Spanish to any age gap and at any level. From beginners to advanced levels.
Classes can be delivered virtually and they will be on the format that the student needs, I will adapt to the necessity of the student.

Graduate in Literature and Linguistics and Teaching French as a Foreign Language from French universities with over 20 years of experience teaching French for public examinations or simply for pleasure.
Target oriented and fun! Lessons are tailored to suit students' needs and objectives, interests and learning behaviours. Multi-media materials are used to achieve the greatest effects in the five skills of learning. Suitable drilling is also adopted for best results in public examinations.

I try to create a relaxed environment while keeping the lessons as rich as possible so you get the best experience.

However, a new language can be a useful for a CV, for University application, or even for your own cultural knowledge and experience. I can provide help with existing homework if you are already at school, and, I can be a source of practice (as practice makes progress!). I am very flexible and we can discuss what you feel you need to study. I will be here to offer advice on different things you can do to improve.
