About Me

Hello! I am a Master's student at the University of Edinburgh, doing a research degree in Biomedical Sciences.
Teaching my subject is something I tremendously enjoy, as I think it not just benefits the student, but also myself as I engage more with concepts and intricacies in the subject.
I am a patient, encouraging and friendly teacher. Biological Sciences are incredibly fascinating to me as a field, and I hold a love for it that surpasses academic benefit, because the natural mechanisms of life are awe-inspiring. That is what I intend for anyone I can teach to also see.

I have a holistic yet simplifying approach to the subject, where I believe concepts should be taught to the student in such a way that the end result is that the learner can disassemble and reassemble the information blocks, and understand the relevance of what they learn in the subject.

Tutoring in scientific subjects (Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology)
Science subjects can be difficult, but very interesting and useful once they are understood. I am a fourth year undergraduate student studying Chemistry and Chemical engineering, and I offer help with high school courses, lower year university ones, or simply tutoring for people interested in the subject. Since I have followed an engineering-based degree the first two years, I have strong bases in most of the scientific subjects, such as calculus, algebra, chemistry and biology, and am glad to help anyone that might need it to understand them better.

Science and Mathematics for elementary school level and adults up to 17 years old.
Tutoring science and mathematics to elementary school students is an important step in building a strong foundation in these subjects. By providing personalized attention and support, tutors can help students develop a deeper understanding of key concepts and improve their problem-solving skills. Additionally, tutoring can help build confidence in students who may struggle with these subjects, setting them up for success in the future. Tutors can also provide real-world examples and hands-on activities to make learning more engaging and enjoyable for young learners. Overall, I believe that tutoring in science and mathematics at the elementary school level can have a significant impact on a student's academic growth and future success.

Biology is fascinating - we're all composed of complex molecular interactions! Why not learn more about it? My experience in academia has shown me that we all learn differently. I prefer tailoring my teaching methods upon learning more about what works for the student. I'm a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from the University of Edinburgh. I work in a research laboratory part-time and have prior experience with teaching science to children.

Chemistry Educator | 5+ Years of Experience 🏆 | Expert in International & Local Curricula 🌍 | Nanoengineering Researcher 🇪🇬
As a chemistry teacher, I focus on using modern teaching methods that enhance the role of the student as an active element in the educational process. Since chemistry is a logical scientific branch, I use induction and deduction methods, in addition to brainstorming, and I make sure to include dialogue and discussion during lessons. As a researcher in nanoscience, I seek to develop students' creative and critical analysis skills, which helps them form their own opinions and ideas. I believe in the slogan of Egyptian scientists: “Because every mind makes a difference.” I also work to motivate students internally by stimulating the spirit of competition through educational competitions, games, oral and written tests, as well as practical experiments. I cannot ignore the fun side of chemistry, which is practical experiments. I make sure to apply these experiments as a researcher, whether through live explanation online or by preparing explanatory videos, whether produced by me or from reliable sources such as YouTube.

Biology (Cell, Evolutionary, Genetics) from basic to advanced
Biology is one of the most important subjects in the science field. It's a core course taught everywhere, but the key to understanding any type of science, including Biology, is applying theoretical knowledge to real-life phenomena. That's what I valued the most as a pupil and student myself, putting my knowledge to practice, and that's exactly what I want to teach my students. We will go through all the unclarities and gaps of knowledge you may have from school or university and reinforce our lessons by finding ways to practice Biology in real life. That's what Biology is about since it is the science of life after all, isn't it? You're more than welcome to join my class, and I'll make sure you ace those Biology exams.
