Piano lessons from an experienced teacher with a conservatory master's degree, for all ages and all levels.

From 45 £ /h

I have experience teaching piano lessons to all ages and levels. I have taught children ranging from preschoolers to high school students who wish to attend the conservatory.

I have a classical background, but I find it important to cover all aspects of music, such as playing by ear, improvisation, playing from a score, four-hand playing, and so on.

But above all, we look at what you want and where your interests lie.

The piano lessons can last 30, 45, or 60 minutes, and can range from once a week to twice a month. In other words, the lessons can be scheduled flexibly.

If you are interested, be sure to send me a message. We can then arrange a free first lesson so you can immediately feel if it is something for you!

Dear music lovers,

Always wanted to discover the wonderful sounds of the piano? I offer piano lessons for young and old! No prior knowledge? No problem, together we will start a fun course from scratch. The musical alphabet is taught at your own pace and you'll be playing some of your favorite songs in no time. Chord learning also possible.
In my home there is both an advanced electric piano, ideal for experimenting with different sound effects, and an acoustic piano.
For the younger musicians: songs can also be learned through play, dance and singing. Songs are taught in a creative way!

We listen to your wishes and make a plan, taking into account your agenda.

I offer lessons in packages of five or ten lessons, but also a single lesson.
Lessons at home possible or at my home in Aardenburg (Netherlands)

Classical, pop, a touch of jazz, ...? You are welcome with me!

Musical greetings,
Leila

PIANO

Foundation
First we start with the music theory, melody and chords. These are the essential building blocks for making music.

Style
Next we apply stylistic tools to bring the music to life. This could include jazz chords, blues riffs, walking bass lines, and more.

Skills

We learn the skills (soloing, ear training, accompaniment, improvisation, lead sheets, analysis...)

Following this approach, you will finally understand the music that you are playing, and you will be able to apply the techniques to hundreds of other songs.

CVT COACHING

Hi! I am Tine, a singer, voice teacher and vocal coach. I am passionate about helping singers to make the most of their singing practice so they can thrive, grow, and become the powerful performers and communicators the world needs today.

I can help you train your voice and keep it healthy, develop your own unique sound, sing across different styles, manage performance anxiety, be authentic on stage, deliver powerful presentations, make more efficient goals and help you reach them.

It is possible to create all the sounds from all the styles / genres in a healthy way!

CVT METHOD?

Singing is not that difficult and everybody can learn to sing. CVT divideds the singing techniques into four main subjects. By combining elements of these four subjects, you can produce precisely the sounds you want. You will also be able to pinpoint your specific problems and mistakes, and you can focus on which techniques you wish to work on.

The four main subjects are:

The three overall principles – to ensure healthy sound production
The four vocal modes – to choose the ‘gear’ you want to sing in.
Sound colours – to make the sound lighter or darker.
Effects – to achieve specific sound effects.

Learning how to play the piano is a goal you can reach only by frequent exercising.
Considering the fact that many pupils and grownups don't have much time to practise, my piano lessons are split in learning new information and also practising together.

It is my conviction that the most pleasure can be obtained from playing the piano when you can not only reproduce a piece but also improvise with it. Interpreting and re-enacting a classical piece gives a great kick, but on the other hand it is really useful to get a dose of insight into harmony in order to learn to play more efficiently from the outside, or to make your own variation of it. And I think this can be taught right away on the keyboard for the beginner or the advanced, with whatever piece you like to hear, of whatever genre. I like to devote myself to such a piece and bring in some music theory and tricks that I discovered in the jazz world, intertwined with the classical method as the academy offers it! As far as I'm concerned, it is precisely this combination of reproduction and improvisation that gives the pianist the ultimate freedom! To be honest, it took me many years to discover all kinds of things and now I want to share this!

English below*

Hello everybody! My name is Alejandro. I am a professional classical pianist with a bachelor and two master degrees (one in the conservatory of Ghent "classic piano performance master" and another in Spain "teaching master"). At the moment I am also studying another master classical fortepiano in the Conservatory of Amsterdam.

I have a lot of experience teaching in various music schools, professional academies and also privately. I have given piano concerts in several countries such as Spain, England, Italy and Belgium, so I am quite open minded in my teaching and I try to adapt my experience abroad to all types of students.

I mainly teach in English, Dutch and Spanish. My lessons are focused on the individual needs of the student, taking into account what each student has to improve. Enjoying music is the most important goal in my teaching method. I can mainly teach in the student house, but I have my own keyboard in my home in Ghent Center. Online is also an option (I also have experience with this way of working). I am always available for students to send questions or doubts during the week!

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have.

I offer piano lessons in English, French or Italian for students of all ages and levels. Lessons focus on developing technique, musical understanding, listening skills, and artistic expression.

My teaching is grounded in the Faber Piano Adventures method and enriched with creative activities such as improvisation, four-hand duets, and simple composition exercises. Each lesson is adapted to your interests and pace, whether you are learning for personal enjoyment, creative exploration, or to support other musical practices.

For more advanced students, I also incorporate selected excerpts from Mikrokosmos by Béla Bartók, as well as pieces from the classical repertoire chosen in dialogue with the student.

As a conservatory-trained singer and composer with five years of teaching experience, I bring a dynamic, relational approach that connects instrumental technique with creativity and personal expression. Lessons take place in the student’s home in Ghent, Brussels, and nearby areas, and last 30, 45, or 60 minutes depending on age and level.

My name is Andre. I'm a professional musician with more than 10 years in the field. Despite Jazz being the main focus of my study and practice I've learned to love all genres and absorb each unique values and strengths. Having them integrated in the musical projects I've created or participated on. Projects which revolve around Jazz, Pop, Rock, Psychedelic, Electronic and Reggae.
Throughout my professional career I've worked with music schools and private students (+200). During this years I've encountered a plethora of different kinds of students, all levels ranging from kids to seniors and even a good quantity of autistic or down syndrome students, which always made me more and more interested in the art of teaching and helping people grow, by balancing challenge and empathy.

My lessons are characterized by a practical approach combined with a theoretical component, that always caters to the student's interests, stimulating their musical taste and creativity. For this, I like to go across the board with disciplines such as:
Musical Theory
Technique
Ear training
Performance
Composition
Improvisation
Band/project guidance
Study methodoly
Reportoire

My main objectives as a mentor are:

- To captivate students with music and their learning process

- To stimulate healthy learning methods based on their own goals

- To develop the spirit and discipline of self-learning.

Frequency, duration, and format depend on each student's goals.

Sarshar (b. 1999) (Master's in classical music piano - composition) is a concert pianist and composer born in Tehran and educated at the conservatories of Budapest, Vienna, and Ghent. Known for his original compositions and distinctive interpretations of composers such as Chopin, Debussy, Beethoven, Liszt, and Bartók, he combines a strong classical foundation with a deeply personal musical voice.

He has studied classical piano with internationally renowned pianists and has performed across Europe, including concerts in Paris, Copenhagen, Spain, Poland, Hungary, Austria, and Belgium. His performances include appearances at the Polish Institute in Paris — where Chopin himself performed in the 19th century — and at the Antonin Palace in Poland, the UNESCO World Heritage site where Chopin gave concerts during his lifetime. He has also performed for the Belgian Royal Family, Queen Mathilde and King Philippe and collaborated with internationally acclaimed artists such as Alexander Vantournhout.

Sarshar is the laureate of multiple international piano competitions across Europe, China, and North America. Alongside his concert career, he composes music for film, theater, and dance productions, creating works that combine structural clarity with emotional depth and reflection.

As a teacher, he focuses not only on piano technique and musicality, but also on helping students develop their own artistic identity, confidence, and connection to music. He also integrates harmony into his piano teaching to help students better understand musical structure and build a deeper, more meaningful connection to the music they play. Lessons are available in English, Dutch, and Farsi for beginners, advanced students, and aspiring professionals..
I teach with different methods depending the person’s age, and personality.

First he gets to know what your goals and ambitions are, and based on your paste, knowledge and experience will build a personal traject where you can grow fast and optimal, while reaching your goals realistically.
