My name is Bo. I’m 26 years old and originally from the Netherlands. Dutch is my native language, but I grew up with English as a second language. I’ve completed two degrees in English and have also worked in English, so I can say it comes naturally to me. I’m passionate about learning languages, so I’d love to help you improve your Dutch or English.

I would describe myself as outgoing, enthusiastic, and social. I have a drive to learn and experience new things. I’ve been living in Barcelona for three years now, and I love it here! In my free time, I enjoy staying active with sports like going to the gym, playing tennis, and practising yoga, but I also love being creative.

EXPERIENCE
In terms of language teaching, I tutored throughout high school and university. I’ve also taken many language classes myself, so I understand the student’s perspective from taking classes. Additionally, I have experience caring for children. I did a lot of babysitting as a teenager and worked at a school for mentally disabled children in Morocco. That experience, in particular, taught me how to care for children with special needs and how to communicate across language barriers.

I am a passionate teacher. I love personalized instruction. I hold a C2 level certificate in Catalan from the Barcelona Linguistic Normalization Consortium and a B2 level certificate in English from the Vall d'Hebron Official Language School (EOI) in Barcelona.
