Since this year there will not be any exams I would like to help students target their weakest areas and strengthen their overall and in depth understanding of those subjects. This will benefit them tremendously later on when the difficulty of the material increases and requires more profound understanding.
At times like this it can be a challenge to keep students mentally stimulated. At the same time due to the amount of time available it is a unique opportunity to greatly improve their knowledge and understanding before they move onto the next stage of their education.

You will be thought all the essentials of maths to be able to get through with your GCSEs. Any questions that you may be stuck on I am here to help with.
My goal is to leave you understanding all the principles and formulas that come with the subject Maths.

I am a qualified teacher that has primarily taught KS1 children. I have been a class teacher in both year 1 and year 2, as well as having been trained in KS2 also. In my previous teaching role I planned all maths and phonics lessons for my year group, having a high understanding of progression throughout the subjects.
I specialise in early reading (phonics) and maths, but also have a wealth of knowledge in English.
I offer well rounded tutoring that is child centred, supportive and effective. I am friendly and tailor sessions towards the child’s needs.

Some students prefer using a number line to solve integer problems. Others may prefer two-colored math chips to solve the problem. Students should have access to either method they prefer. Giving students access to use the method and manipulatives they need to find a solution to problems is a sign of an effective classroom.

I teach Maths, Physics GCSE level to anyone at secondary school. My goal is to teach the mathematical tool for their exam and to make the student like the subject.
