VBA programming, get more out of the tools in the MS Office suite and more!Translate this text using Google Translate.

Microsoft Office is now a virtually indispensable software suite for almost everyone, whether during our school years, through PowerPoint presentations, document creation with MS Word, calculations and graph creation in MS Excel, or during our professional lives. In the latter case, we need to get even more out of it in a minimum amount of time. Some may have noticed that it's possible to automate a series of actions by recording "macros" to save time. But have you ever considered that behind these macros lies computer code generated for you in "Visual Basic for Applications" (VBA)? Understanding this type of code and how it manipulates the "object model" associated with the application being used (for example, the worksheets, rows and columns, cells, and the values they contain, in the case of Microsoft Excel) allows you to go further in terms of automation and flexibility. The course is adaptable to the student and their level. Depending on demand and the number of sessions, it can cover the fundamentals of programming (variables, types, declarations, manipulations, local and global variables, etc.), illustrated using VBA, as well as best programming practices (error handling, using comments, standardizing variable names, code modularity), culminating in the creation of a project enabling interoperability between different Microsoft Office tools (for example, associating notes taken with OneNote with dates in a perpetual calendar created in Excel). It may even cover concepts such as object-oriented programming (polymorphism, encapsulation) and the differences between compiled and interpreted languages. The sky's the limit :))

Charlotte is a superb instructor. I took classes with her at her home for several months to improve my public speaking skills. During each session, Charlotte helped me work on my tone and delivery through various public speaking exercises. Charlotte asked me to prepare short written assignments before our meetings, so that I could practice delivering my script using various speaking techniques during the class. For these assignments, Charlotte was very engaged and made sure that the assignments would assist me in my specific professional goals. She did this by tailoring the subject matter to my professional work - mostly legal and political matters - and she pushed me to consider what I wanted to achieve from my audience with each speaking opportunity. Charlotte, however, is not only a skilled professional. She is also a tremendously kind, energetic and dynamic person to work with. She made me feel comfortable sharing my vulnerabilities, which made the process of receiving constructive feedback a fun and welcomed experience. She encouraged me to practice my public speaking in French - which is not my first language - and made me feel at ease. She is kind, understanding and an incredibly nice person. If you are looking for a professional who is dedicated to helping you improve, welcomes your goals and ideas, and who is a pleasure to meet with each week - then look no further than Charlotte.

I am a 15 year old girl and I was in Brussels for 6 days. In this time, I spent two mornings and one afternoon with Elena having a type of french tutoring. This french tutoring was different though. For these ‘lessons’ we walked around Brussels city, visited the centre, the luxury avenues, the museums, ate the local food and much more. Throughout the walks, we talked about multiple subjects and Elena made sure to always include french speaking in them. The most difficult area for me when learning a language is speaking but Elena helped me get out of my comfort zone by talking to me in french and pushing me to talk back in french too. Overall I learnt a lot in just about 12-14 hours total which is very surprising for me! Apart from being a good teacher, Elena is a nice, warm and friendly person who double checked if was feeling okay all of the time. If anyone is looking for an amazing french tutor/teacher who will teach you the language in many different ways, Elena is the best fit. Thank you for this amazing experience Elena!

I started my yoga journey with Bahar 2-3 months ago with private lessons, and she has been a wonderful teacher so far. She is very attentive, and centers the experience and expectations of the student. Every week or two, we assess how my personal practice is going, and adjust the flow of the classes accordingly. Instead of just telling or demonstrating what to do, she remains in constant dialogue with me in order that I find what resonates with me in terms of movement, pace, and balance. I am very happy with our classes, and would continue for longer!
