I started my dance training when I was 4 years old, I trained in several different dance styles: classical dance, jazz, hip hop, tango, salsa, girly, among others. Dance is my passion in life and I have been lucky enough to be able to teach it for almost 15 years.

About Me
I'm Daniela, a Colombian dance teacher, psychotherapist, and coach. I combine my two passions: dance and therapy/coaching, not only to teach you how to do dance steps, but also to help you find well-being through dance and your body. For over 14 years, I've been teaching classes in different styles, including salsa, hip hop, jazz, classical dance, ballroom dancing, and more. I also create choreographies for various events, especially weddings. From Bogota to Barcelona and now Brussels, I want to continue spreading the joy of dance.

I started dancing when I was 4 years old and today I know a lot of different styles (and I'm still learning too). Now I mainly give salsa classes and I love bringing a bit of Latin America to Brussels. But if you're interested in another style, don't hesitate to let me know.
I give lessons for beginners, but also for connoisseurs who want to improve.
Education
I am a Psychologist, Psychotherapist, Coach, Dancer and Dance Teacher. I did classical dance for 10 years, jazz and hip hop for 12 years (I was also part of hip hop competition groups in Colombia and Barcelona), and salsa for 7 years. I did my dance training in Colombia, in Buenos Aires, Barcelona and now in Brussels.
I also have my diploma of Psychologist of Colombia and two masters: psychotherapy and coaching of Barcelona.
Experience / Qualifications
I am increasingly trying to combine my two trainings, my two passions: dance and psychology. I have been giving dance classes for 14 years and private lessons for 8 years. I have always had good experiences with my students in private lessons or group lessons and in schools. With very different ages (I have had students from 4 years old to 70 years old) and different nationalities (I can give classes in English, French or Spanish) the results have always been very positive.

I am Daniela, Colombian, psychologist, coach and dance teacher for 14 years. I have experience giving private and group lessons in salsa, hip hop, jazz, classical dance and creating and learning choreography for weddings or other events.
The course lasts one hour and you can choose to do the lessons alone or as a couple.
The class begins with a body warm-up to activate the muscles, the brain and get into "salsa mode" (or the style you want to dance). Then, depending on the level, I offer exercises to understand and learn rhythm, basic movements or more complex steps or tricks. We end with a moment of improvisation, which helps to strengthen not only knowledge of dance, but also self-confidence, communication with the partner and the ability to learn from mistakes and improvise.
