I am Daniela, Colombian, psychologist, coach and dance teacher for 14 years. I have experience giving private and group lessons in salsa, hip hop, jazz, classical dance and creating and learning choreography for weddings or other events. The course lasts one hour and you can choose to do the lessons alone or as a couple. The class begins with a body warm-up to activate the muscles, the brain and get into "salsa mode" (or the style you want to dance). Then, depending on the level, I offer exercises to understand and learn rhythm, basic movements or more complex steps or tricks. We end with a moment of improvisation, which helps to strengthen not only knowledge of dance, but also self-confidence, communication with the partner and the ability to learn from mistakes and improvise. It's a dynamic course, which will allow you to work on coordination, your memory, rhythm, to know your body better, to gain self-confidence and above all to have a good time! The first lesson is always an assessment of the student level and the discussion of the main concentration points, particular problems, expectations etc. to benefit the most from the following course. For mathematics and English courses, I first explain the general concepts and the theory, after which we work together on the examples. Whenever possible, I try to give students a small homework assignment. As for the dance, the class starts with the warming up of the body, which depends on the personal predispositions of the pupil-one practices special steps, choreographs, improvises, stretches, etc. As a dancer, I am professionally doing contemporary dance but I mix different styles: I also dance hip-hop and breakdance, I train in ballet to always keep, I have experience in oriental dance , which interests me a lot: I am then at your disposal if it is the choice of style!

📌It doesn't always take two for things to work... To begin to connect, assimilate and experiment with new KNOWLEDGE, the most IMPORTANT thing is the body, the attitude, perseverance and a great pinch of confidence! I always like to approach the codes of different dance disciplines, based on structures that work on the physical, rhythmic, and creative aspects. There is an idea that Tango is difficult to learn, and of course if we approach it with that label, it will be that way. Starting from the main concept of tango, WALKING, something that we all do most of the time, dancing tTANGO is within everyone's reach.🤗 Another very important point is the way to assimilate and understand it 😉😅 ❤️‍🔥What will the classes be like, you ask? I'll tell you a little bit, we are going to develop the structure in the work of weight changes, the step, projection of the walk, the pivot, understanding the kinesphere individually and as a couple translated into the hug, the turns and the spiral torso to understand the momentum in various exercises, the eights so famous in tango, the basic step and universal exit, walks with the concept of lanes and much more from various sequences that familiarize you with the technical needs to be able to perform the steps without leaving aside the dynamics, pulse, accent and compas of the tango. Everything will be raised in the background in a more organic way. It's not just about learning individual steps, and then...what do we do 🧐? It is not the form that should take the leading role, but the way in which you express that form. We will also let your creative and playful side be part of the process, through a tool that I consider very valuable, which is improvisation 👌 since it allows you to find your own style and recognize your strengths and weaknesses to continue growing in your passion for dance.
