With over 16 years of professional experience as a musician, I have performed in a wide range of genres and ensembles alongside top artists and bands.

Throughout my career, I have toured across the UK, EU and US, playing at well known festivals, theatres and world renowned venues. I hold a BMus(hons) in Bass Guitar and have served in HM Royal Marines Band Service for 8 years specialising in Bass Guitar, Tuba and Double Bass.

As a dedicated and experienced tutor, I have been providing private lessons for the past decade. My teaching approach is tailored to your individual needs and wants. We can have fun learning your favourite songs and exploring different genres or, we can dive deeper into harmony and theory, aural skills, sight reading and advanced playing techniques. Whichever route we take, I always ensure you develop a solid technique and strong musical foundation. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment.

I have a large selection of study materials and books, can tailor a practise routine to your schedule (no matter how busy you are!) and use adaptive communication to cater for different learning styles.

About Me

Born in London, UK and I have taught students of all abilities privately for over 10 years.
I am now living in Frankfurt, offering my services to those wishing to learn Bass Guitar from a professional musician with extensive experience in both live playing and studio work.

I believe music should be both enjoyable and rewarding, never competitive. My lessons are tailored to suit the students personal aims and goals, there is no pressure. The lessons can be light, casual and fun where we can learn your favourite songs by ear and explore different styles of playing. Or, they can focus on sight reading, harmony and theory, scales, work towards an exam and develop advanced playing techniques.

I have a huge collection of invaluable books, resources and music that I use to teach from.

If you think you are too busy to learn an instrument around your schedule, think again! I will show you how a practice routine, if adhered to, can produce surprising results.

Education

I hold a BMus(hons) in Bass Guitar. I studied at the London Centre of Contemporary Music with professors including, Geoff Gascoyne, Ernie McKone and Roberto Pla.

Experience / Qualifications

I have toured across the world with various bands, sat in theatre pits, recorded in the studio and also play the Upright Bass and Tuba.
