About Me
I have been working in education for over 20 years, and what I still enjoy the most is seeing students gain confidence in themselves. For me, teaching is not only about explaining a subject, but about helping each child (or adult) feel capable and supported.
I consider myself a calm and patient teacher. I like having structure in my lessons, but I also understand that every student is different. Some need more guidance, some need encouragement, and others simply need someone who believes in them.
Throughout my career, I have worked with many families and students from different backgrounds. Living in Zürich has also given me a deeper understanding of multilingual and international environments, which I find very enriching.
I value respect, consistency, and clear communication. I try to create a learning space where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes — because that is how real learning happens.
Even after many years in education, I am still motivated to keep learning and improving as a teacher. Supporting students in their progress, step by step, is something I truly care about.
