Back-to-school schedule open from August 17th — fixed weekly slots available

Regardless of their level, objective or age, I provide each of my students with a fully personalized approach.

Having started at the conservatory at the age of 7 and left 15 years later after training in instrumental performance, theory, singing, and harmony, I quickly began teaching. My journey took me from Toulouse to Brussels, then from Brussels to Paris, where I lived for 10 years. I accompanied singers and dancers, created shows, led workshops and choirs, and guided students from their first piece to their first competition.
Having always preferred to be on the sidelines rather than in front, teaching is a true path for me: I seek to transmit knowledge, find the right entry point, and see autonomy and confidence gradually emerge.

Recommendations from former students are available upon request.

My courses are aimed at children, teenagers and adults.
I believe in the importance of music theory, which represents the alphabet of every musician: ultimately, it's what will allow you to play anything you want, without a teacher, without memorizing, and... without YouTube ;)
I directly integrate musical training, rhythm and ear training into the course, so that you can immediately put what you learn into practice and understand its usefulness.
The repertoire is chosen together according to the ages, tastes and objectives of each person: classical, jazz, pop, variety, film music, piano-vocal accompaniment...

I travel to homes in Geneva and surrounding areas: Geneva centre, Eaux-Vives, Champel, Plainpalais, Carouge, Lancy, Onex, Cologny, Chêne-Bougeries, Chêne-Bourg, Thônex, Grand-Saconnex, Nations, Petit-Saconnex, Meyrin, Vernier, Versoix.
I can also travel occasionally to Nyon, Coppet, Gland, Rolle and La Côte if several courses are grouped together on the same half-day.

About Me
As a teacher with several years of experience, I enjoy sharing knowledge in a structured, supportive, and relaxed environment. I place great importance on communication and listening to each student. My goal is to provide a solid foundation while fostering the joy of playing, exploring, singing, listening, and expressing oneself, according to each student's individual goals and abilities.

My background combines piano, singing, accompaniment, harmony, ear training, rhythm, and show creation. This allows me to adapt my lessons to very different profiles, from young children to adult beginners, those returning to music, or advanced students.

Trained at the conservatory (CNMDT) in piano, music theory and operatic singing for more than 10 years, I continued to improve my skills as an adult, particularly in music theory and harmony.

I offer in-home music awakening sessions for young children in Geneva and the surrounding area.

The goal is not to give a lesson in the classical sense, but to open a first door to music: listening, singing, moving, feeling the rhythm, discovering sounds, playing with the voice, gestures, small percussion instruments and the keyboard.

Depending on the child's age, the sessions may include:

nursery rhymes and songs;
rhythm and pulse games;
listening and sound recognition games;
a gradual discovery of the piano;
of movement, musical gesture and coordination;
small ear exercises;
moments of imitation, invention and expression.

For toddlers, especially those between 1 and 3 years old, the approach is very gentle, sensory, and playful. It uses voice, body, sounds, images, play, and repetition. The goal is to create a lively, joyful musical experience adapted to the child's pace.

For slightly older children, around 3 to 6 years old, one can gradually move towards a first discovery of the keyboard: recognizing low and high notes, following a pulse, reproducing small patterns, singing while accompanying oneself, inventing short musical phrases, developing listening and concentration.

My approach is flexible and entirely personalized. Some children need a lot of movement, others need to observe, listen, repeat, or use their imagination. I adapt to their age, energy level, sensitivity, and pace.

I began my musical studies at the conservatory at the age of 7 and completed my training there up to the third cycle. I have been teaching piano and singing for several years, and I have also created children's shows and accompanied singers and dancers. My background allows me to approach music in a dynamic way, connecting rhythm, voice, body, listening, and emotion.

I can provide in-home services for a single child, siblings, or a small group of children, depending on availability. I can also offer occasional or regular sessions in various settings: early childhood centers, nurseries, daycare centers, associations, community centers, or music workshops.

The duration (and the price) will be assessed based on the child's age.

I am currently putting together my schedule for the start of the new term on August 17th, with regular slots available at home.

I travel to Geneva and surrounding areas: Geneva centre, Eaux-Vives, Champel, Plainpalais, Carouge, Lancy, Onex, Cologny, Chêne-Bougeries, Chêne-Bourg, Thônex, Grand-Saconnex, Nations, Petit-Saconnex, Meyrin, Vernier, Versoix.

Possible travel to Nyon, Coppet, Gland, Rolle and La Côte if several sessions are grouped on the same half-day.

I offer piano and singing lessons at home in Geneva and the surrounding area, for teenagers and adults who wish to sing while accompanying themselves on the piano or work on a personal repertoire.

These lessons are suitable for both beginners and those with some prior experience in piano and singing. The goal is to create a clear, musical accompaniment tailored to your voice, your skill level, and the songs you enjoy.

We can work together:

the basics of piano to accompany yourself;
simple chords and chord progressions;
rhythm and voice/piano coordination;
harmonic listening;
accuracy, phrasing and interpretation;
the construction of a simple and effective support system;
reading sheet music or chord charts (American chords);
adapting a piece to your key;
the work of expression and emotion.

You choose the repertoire: French songs, pop, variety, jazz, musical theatre, film scores, personal pieces or songs that you dream of being able to play and sing.

I can also support singers who wish to prepare for an audition, a performance, a demo, or a show. The lessons can be focused on piano, singing, or a balance of both, depending on your needs.

My background combines piano, singing, accompaniment, harmony, American composition, ear training, creating shows, and accompanying singers and dancers. I started playing piano at age 7 at the conservatory and studied there until the third cycle, before teaching in Paris and Brussels.

I place great importance on listening, enjoyment, and personalization. Lessons are fully adapted to your level, tastes, and goals. We progress step by step, in a focused yet relaxed atmosphere, with practical tools so you can quickly practice on your own between sessions.

Possible travel to Nyon, Coppet, Gland, Rolle and La Côte if several courses are grouped together on the same half-day.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to express my strong interest in the position of Music Teacher. With more than twenty five years of experience in music education, performance, and artistic development, I bring a deep passion for teaching and a holistic approach to music as both a discipline and a form of personal expression.

Throughout my career, I have worked with students of different ages, levels, and cultural backgrounds, supporting them in building strong technical skills while encouraging creativity, confidence, and emotional connection to music. My teaching philosophy is based on the belief that music education should inspire curiosity and joy, alongside structure, discipline, and artistic integrity.

In addition to my teaching work, I am an active musician whose compositions and performances have reached an international audience through platforms such as SoundCloud. Listener feedback consistently highlights the emotional depth, originality, and atmospheric quality of my music, often describing it as expressive, cinematic, and deeply moving. This ongoing interaction with a global audience enriches my teaching, allowing me to share real-world artistic experience with my students and encourage them to develop their own authentic musical voice.

I have also contributed to collaborative artistic projects, including volunteer work composing and creating music for the Geneva theatre production Monolog 2020. This experience strengthened my ability to work in interdisciplinary environments and deepened my understanding of how music supports storytelling, stage performance, and emotional expression.

I consider creativity an essential part of both my professional and personal life. Outside of music, I enjoy painting, which further develops my sense of color, form, and expression—elements that strongly influence my musical interpretation and teaching. I am also passionate about skiing, a sport that reflects values I bring into my work: focus, discipline, perseverance, and the ability to adapt to changing conditions with confidence and calm.

Over the years, I have developed a flexible, student-centered teaching approach, adapting methods to individual learning styles and goals. My experience includes individual and group instruction, performance preparation, and long-term artistic mentoring. I value collaboration with colleagues, clear communication with students and parents, and continuous professional growth.

I would be honored to contribute my experience, creativity, and dedication to your institution. I am confident that my background as both a teacher and an active artist would allow me to make a meaningful contribution to your educational environment.

Thank you for considering my application. I would welcome the opportunity to further discuss my experience and teaching philosophy.

Yours sincerely,
